Consider taming a basilo as your battle mount. They are immune to jellyfish

and for the plesi maybe try to box in the rider area so if you do get shocked off you are encased in a protected structure

jellyfish are super weak and cant fight back if you swim away and hit from range. If you ever get shocked you get a 30 second grace period before you get shocked again (Unless this is an ASA addition- i havent played evolved in like 3 years)

you are on pc mate. you can remove the fog if you want. my system is a good one from back in 21 and except during the extinction launch i've had zero issues. that wasn't even WC fault it was a driver issue on my end that took a couple of weeks for amd to iron out. the game is playable. i just encourage an unofficial server or solo so you can use cheats when something invetiably drops through the mesh or a bug pops up that hasn't been resolved.

that usually means hardware problems or other severe failure. can you describe exactly what happens, when it happens in-game, any other details you can add? plus list your CPU, GPU, and storage drive models? it is not a problem with a mod, at least directly. game errors should always give an error message

I'd recommend doing a backup of your files before doing this. But it could also be related to a corrupt game file, mods, or your RAM I think. So if the above does not work, might be worth to try to load it without any mods, verify file integrity in steam, etc.

generally 130+ is good enough for taming. pre tame stats arent that important unless the stat you want has like 5 points into it pre tame because its all luck. if you can see the pre tame stat, may as well complete the tame and hope it gets 40+ post tame

its just luck, 25 in a stat pre tame is considered good.

but if you get say, 22 in a stat and dont complete the tame then youre potentially missing out on getting super lucky and having 40+ post tame

you have to go into the games files, find gameusersettings.ini and add a line under ServerSettings called DifficultyOffset=x, X being a number you want ur difficulty to be. difficulty 5 would make max lvl 150

Anyone on singleplayer who has this issue? i cant tame anything because of this and i cant get it fixed or find any help online. When i knock something out on like detailed terrain which could be cliffs or rock formations, then go 1000 meters away from the creature it falls through the detailed terrain. I can ghost under the map to feed it but then its taming effectiveness to 0%. this happens on every map. Ive tried preventing hibernation, running a non dedicated server but nothing helped. How is Club Ark Singleplayer supposed to work? I created a new character and completed a mission, bought a lootbox and got some items that got put in the transmitter, and then completing another mission reset my tokens and the transmitter, and now I can't earn any more. Reloading the map also resets my character.

Is there any way to resolve this? I can only ever complete 1 mission before all progress gets reset. Leaving Club Ark also resets character data.

I'd go back to default or undo the changes made as admin to see if it solves the issue, but I never had something similar happen. Also, check your cosmetics, some users on reddit had the issue and it was the cosmetics tab full.

that is just the game loading? 10 seconds is nothing. verifying your files wont do anything at all for performance issues

if files are corrupted, the game will just crash on the spot

it is related to memory available, common issue with extinction due to some memory optimization issues it seems to have at the moment. people with over 8GB VRAM can manually increase the amount used to load with r.streaming.poolsize
