Are you trying to go to the center?

If you don't have another server where transfers are opened, Go to an island server, leave your stuff there then transfer back to your center server.

Club ark needs updated. Login lock usually happens when you crash but the servers are still acting like your character is on it. Once your character falls down you should be able to log back in.

yeah, that is questionable for ASA. 16GB RAM is going to struggle really badly. are you going over 85-90% RAM use? the 3060 is also on the low side

you can usually undo any sort of save corruption with the automated backup files the game makes, though

you have to catch it before those get overwritten by a new save

if only ark causes a crash, it is likely hardware stability issues, with ark overloading something (usually the GPU). in theory, all components should be able to run at full power indefinitely without issues.. the reality is most gaming branded stuff is shit, even before misconfiguration or poor assembly

equally demanding software should cause similar issues, if that is the case

on that note, if you have a 13th or 14th gen intel CPU, there are widespread corruption and failures going on with them due to unsafe firmware, which tend to crop up in unreal engine games before anything else common

if it is particularly old, check if the CPU or GPU are overheating. they need their thermal paste replaced every few years, ideally, and can critically overheat after too long without that

Yo, so I'm on a server that doesn't have custom levels. I'm level 35 and was wondering why it was taking so long to hit the next level and why my xp meters aren't visibly filling. I have 1219/6660 required xp. Pretty sure level 35 dropped me down to 0 xp. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, I'm having some people have this issue and others not. I've also had cases where we can get on and run around with no problem, but then somebody else can log into the Island and Scorched Earth with absolutely no problem but can't stay on the Center for more than 3 seconds without getting kicked.

Okay so ive spent the last 2 hours trying to figure out why ive lost all my dear Jane skins. I reset default survivor items and respawned, i uninstalled the mod numerous times, i recollected the note, i reset skin and cosmetic items and i unblocked mods in settings all to no avail. Did you find the notes on single player and playing on official? If so they aren’t account bound like evolved was, they are character bound. Unfortunately if you unlocked them in single player it would require deleting the .ini file to reset the notes, but I don’t think you can do that on PS5. Submit a ticket.

You can report the bug, but I’d still suggest logging out/in form multiple different areas. If no Dino’s spawn on you then probably that base location just bugged. depends on some of your settings, but you can increase their quality, at a performance cost.
raising r.VolumetricCloud.ViewRaySampleMaxCount (default seems to be 386) will increase their accuracy
raising r.VolumetricCloud.StepSizeOnZeroConservativeDensity (default 1) increases performance greatly, but can add banding artifacts on distant clouds. 2 seems to be ok.
r.VolumetricRenderTarget.Mode can be changed as well, default is 0. 1 increases quality at a huge performance hit. 2 kind of breaks water/fog

It resets the spawns. When spawning a Dino it rolls from a container containing all dinos that spawn in that area. So a spawn may have a chance to spawn equus but it spawned raptors

Every time you kill Dinos you have a chance of a new Dino spawning. Then if your in a spawn zone for equus, there is a chance it could be an equus the new spawn.

But you have to kill everything and go aways from the area for a couple of minutes for the game to repopulate that area.

I'm rubberbanding like crazy and it's not my internet. Can play any game and have good ping. I'm on an official PvE server and I'm the only one rubber banding like crazy. Can't even jump. But I can load up rocket league right now and have good ping so what's going on? It's done this before on Ark where the Island server I was on everyone was complaining about rubber banding issues in global but I wasn't having any.

To confirm this I just played a match on RL and sure enough ping is 100% fine. But can't play on an official server on Ark without rubberbanding non stop lol

Fly slow and decently high - watch the trees around carefully and you can usually see thylas before they jump. The simple shotgun in a pinch may also save you if you yet jumped and don't have access to the pump shotgun yet

My main base is in the redwoods at the redwood lake - flying is much safer as 95% of the time, the thyla will struggle to actually hit your flying tame and knock you off. On foot or on a land tame, you're a much easier target

Oh. That might be your problem. Windows version isn't usually allowed on PvP because of some cheats/exploits

Not sure how it works for unofficial, perhaps there's some windows only servers where everyone can cheat equally

But it’s not really a huge issue so I’d say asa is decent on ps5

The only major issue I’ve seen is it crashing a lot on scorched earth, but that just started happening after an update, so something probably went wrong there

New here so I'm not sure if this is something that's been brought up before. Recently I ascended at alpha level on my Single Player Island world (ASA) and to make a long story short my character uploads as intended, but when I try do download on Single Player SE via clicking them from the char list and trying to spawn in, I get a dark screen for 4-5s, and sent back to the character creator. Uploaded character is gone for good and I'm forced to start with a new character. All options disabling tributes/transfers are off. I backed up my files many times thankfully so I still have my character, but yeah this is annoying since I can't transfer my character at all. I've tried different permutations of this with uploading via the obelisks instead - same result. Ik I could in theory just make a clone on SE and admin it back to where I was, but I was wondering if this is a well known issue

Aside from ark being ark and being terrible performance for a lot of people. I would suggest checking around 29,60 or somewhere near there. I’ve had multiple times where hundreds of Dino’s spawn in a single spot and become a lag cluster fk

Gather, wood, stone, thatch. Make tools like pickaxe, hatchet. Gather more resources and make spear to help kill small dinos like dodos, lystros, etc. get hide. Keep gathering resources. Craft things like thatch foundations to get xp so you can keep leveling up. Keep doing this until you are at level for forge and smithy, gather the resources needed for each one, until you can make metal tools like pickaxe, hatchet, crossbow, sickle.
