the issue with intel raptor lake CPUs is them failing and causing memory corruption due to unsafe automatic overclocks/too high stock specs. does not apply to an AM5 chip at all, but it could still get memory corruption in more traditional ways, or legitimately be running out of memory

have you run bootable memtest86 overnight, half a dozen passes or so?

memory corruption is very common, since faulty RAM is, and everyone just declares it stable if the system does not crash instantly on turning XMP on

Do you have any mods installed? Sometimes some of them aren't suitable to have together and they make the game crash especially when loading. I had this problem before and I uninstalled my mods one by one to figure out which one was causing the crash. Worked for me, maybe it'll work for you?

i dont think there is any way your savefile can impact that, none of the data related to the model configs is ever changed or saved

network is two way. if your outbound connection is not working, but your inbound is, you will still see stuff moving. seen it many times

Alpha Broodmother costs more materials to be summoned and I’m not sure if it is worth. Besides, I’m not able to defeat it without losses yes, I’d need to raise a new army for that.

Gamma versions of the other bosses would only require trophies and no other mats, which seems convenient, but I’m not sure how much element they give.

Once upon a time you could craft it in a fabricator. But that was removed.

This is to do with the way dinos eat on ark. They don't eat if not rendered, so next you log in and render the game calculates the amount of food they would have eaten and then makes them insta consume it. But if the foid in your troughs has spoiled then all of a sudden there won't be enough when you're logging back in. So game says not enough food, your babies starved. Because it does it at the time they are all rendered they will have the same timestamp for starvation.

I used to do this build thing on ASE where I’d put a doorway of a certain structure type and then use a greenhouse wall and I’d have them in the same place but now on ASA when I try it destroys the adobe when I try to place the greenhouse. Is there a way I can do this again or is it just removed?

For ase on switch every time I tame and Cryo a carcha my items disappear. It’s not like they’ve been deleted but they’re just empty spaces where everything can be. They can’t be transfered dropped selected and even if I die quit or even restart it dosent fit. Is there any way to fix this or stop it from happening. if its asa it only needs the udp port you set forwarded through firewall and router , if its nitrado they do it all for you , self host u have manually do it . also make sure start btach command is correct they can be a bit fussy if using old ase commands an show running in ticking loop but arent comunicating/joinable

hey guys, need some help here. My SE ascended save is just refusing to work. Everytime I launch it, the game just quits out. Its not crashing (no crash report) it just refuses to load in. Island save works fine. Any help please? Been having this issue for three weeks now

I'm really not sure then 😕. From my personal experience, it was the mods that were already installed before downloading Ark that caused the crashes. As you mentioned before, you want to find an alternative to just deleting some of the mods to find out which one is causing the crashes. But the thing is, I'm really not sure about it. My world just started crashing after I got into midgame because of all the mods, but I really have no idea what mods conflict with each other because the solution that I used was to fully uninstall the mods, uninstall Ark, and then reinstall Ark, slowly downloading the mods one by one and letting them install into Ark before playing. I found out which mod was causing it(FYI I already forgot which mod was causing it, but it wasn't the ones you have installed.), but it's a very slow process. Although if this didn't work for you, I'm sorry I couldn't help. I'm basing this off of my personal experiences with this type of situation.

Also, make sure the tracks you're trying to connect are facing the same direction: You'll notice some green arrows indicating the direction on the structure placement hologram and the tracks. I found a mod to auto input commands upon loading in my world so ive got that all set up. Just wish i knew which command effected the crappy shadows on all my trees. Or more so, lack of shadows.

Apparently, the problem was that I closed the game while inside the cave. If closing it, then it no longer correctly registers the difficulty and gives the Gamma ascension instead of the Alpha one.

I think it was Alpha, but it incorrectly registered it as if you defeated gamma. At least, it was the case for me and others with this issue.

It was green. In that case the Tek Cave was Alpha, but probably the boss was Gamma because I left the game inside the cave.

On my third try, however, I didn’t close the game inside the cave, and the game correctly gave me the alpha ascension. I didn’t notice the color of the bar, though.

No idea what could have happened in your case, sorry. Were the enemies inside the cave at level 620 or less for you? 620 should be Alpha.

I found some comments about writing “Alpha” at the terminal so that the other two options couldn’t be seen when opening the door. I don’t know if this could work for you.

If nothing works, you could just give yourself the ascension with console commands, if you don’t mind cheating a little to solve the issue.

the 6600 XT and 3060 are pretty close together. 6600 XT is likely going to perform relatively better at lower resolution or less graphically intense games, it has less memory, and less memory and pcie bandwidth

that will be a bit of a problem for ASA

looking at techspot's in-depth testing, it is better than a 3060 at 1080p, similar at 1440p, and worse at 4k. that is the memory

interestingly it outperforms the 3060 heavily in borderlands 3, which is unreal, but not anywhere near as demanding as ASA, and not raytraced

main thing is if you have a pcie3 cpu or board, it takes a pretty big hit to performance in a lot of situations that the 3060 does not

Raft, motorboats, and platform saddles are one and the same when it comes to platforms. Not sure if it’s intentional but the dinos that can pull a cart now fall in that platform category so follow the same rule where they can’t stand on any other platform without sliding off.

you can only have one save per map, non-dedi and singleplayer use the same save.

is it possible to combine mutations of the same stat from different breeding lines? I have a theri with 10 health mutations and a another with 4. One male one female. When i breed them together i dont seem to be getting babies with mutations from both sides only the 4 or the 10.

That's how it works, they either inherit the stack of 10 or the stack of 4, they can't be added together to get 14.

The only thing that limits mutation chances is total mutation counter on the parents. Once one of the parents hits 20+ that side can no longer mutate, so the chances on a baby getting one half (so long as the other parent is less than 20). Doesn't matter how many mutations they already have unless they have hit the hard 255 cap.
