you will be able to put anything you want to transfer through ark data as normal. (ark data is account based not survivor or tribe)

I need some advice. I'm playing on an unofficial nitrado server and today my client crashed while transfering from the island to se. I can still log on to the se server but after 5 to 10 seconds i disconnect with a host connection timeout. During these 5-10 seconds i can interact with objects, i can die and respawn but i always got the disconnect. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks!

I just ignore them. If you leave your boss Dino’s on the teleport pad the manticore should swoop in and land and you’ll be able to kill them with ease

The video I watched only used Rexes, Yuty, and pig. The Manticore rarely landed. It took them the whole amount of time to beat it. What's the trick? I heard if you have a flyer or shoulder pet the manticore doesn't land but they didn't have any of those and it was in the air most of the fight so took them forever to kill it.

You saying just spawn in and let manticore come to you and he should just chill?

could be a few things going on there, but freezing when moving quickly is usually due to drive speed. do you freeze at all if you stand still and spin the camera, especially near a base? that would indicate video memory thrashing

the freezes for the latter tend to be well under a second, though. the former can be multiple seconds or more on particularly bad drives

NVMe quality/actual performance varies wildly, and the specs shown by the product are always basically useless, it is a wild west out there

singleplayer is local on your computer, so your network is irrelevant. ASA and UE5 games in generally are extremely touchy about unstable internet connections, it is not uncommon

not much you can do except try to improve your connection, or try a closer server if the issue is your ISP routing across a few irrelevant continents

No. The switch is a completely separate port of Ark Survival Evolved handled by another company and is not crossplay with anything. ASE only has crossplay with Xbox-Win10, and Steam-Epic.

I run an ascended cluster for some friends and I with the island and scorched. They both use the same settings but for whatever reason the island has more alphas than I can count, and scorched has none. We've seen 1 alpha wyvern and the server has been up and had Dino wipes every day since release.
Is there any way to get more alphas to spawn without changing the total Dino count too much? The amount of argys that spawn in certain spots is already outrageous, and likely they're over spawning and taking slots away from the alphas.

man, If I were running gamma with a primitive shotgun, I'd bring at least 10 shot guns, probably 10 broth, 100 healing pots, 2 or 3 sets of armor, and as many shells as you can hold in your inventory without going overweight. I'd also have glide suits on all your armor chests, and I'd bring 10-20 really good Megalo's in to do the damage to rockwell himself between rounds.

All will alter the creatures sample for the imprinted rider, but not one of the 3 numbers given are the players imprint🤷🏽‍♂️🤣

thats weird, I don't know too much about that command but another option that could work theoretically could be for the owner to unclaim the dino, revert the imprint (SetImprintQuality 0), set the age to baby (SetbabyAge 0.01), and let the new person claim and imprint on it.

Found out that those ‘DXGI Error’ or ‘out of video memory’ crashes I’ve been having since launch are due to DX12. Happens to any game that uses it and crashes when the game tries to load shaders. Stress tests all came back fine too.

So since this seems to happen to MOBOs similar to the Asus Rog Maximus z790 Hero with an Intel i9-13900k, I had to download Intel XTU and change the core ratio to 52x(from 55x). Literally all these crashes for these games are gone

Hello, I have been having issues recently with the ASE hotbar and items in it. When I slide an item into the hotbar, it sort of goes transparent (actual item, not a single blueprint in my inventory) and I cannot use it. I tried pressing Left Alt, which is assigned to 'craft slot item' and also placing my inventory in a storage / dropping the items and picking them up. Dropping the entire inventory worked before but now seems to work once out of 100 and that the item actually gets placed in the hotbar as an item without disappearing from my inventory. Is there a faster solution to this than me having to go through this process countless amounts of times until it decides to show my items correctly again? Thank you ^^

hello. at our server cluster, we have two members unable to transfer after the maintenance that happened the other day. i am wondering if there is anyone able to help troubleshoot.

they have each died in game to try and fix, they have each completely uninstalled ark and cleared cache/reinstalled ark, and have each created brand new characters on our server and are still unable to transfer.
one plays on xbox and the other on ps5.

however, one of those members has an alternative account and was able to create a character who could transfer on their alternate account.

is anyone else having this problem and how might we direct these users to get their problems fixed so they can play unhindered?

Not sure if anyone else has this issue, I have 2 female and 1 male spino, mated them at different times both females laid an egg, both eggs show the health and incubation bars when looking at them in inventory. My SE server is on day 40ish, my island server is on day 600ish. so... the GRaptor was bread and raised on SE, so it's internal timer is based on that map/server. so the GRaptor works proper on SE, but on the island it says 1100+ days till the next feather is available. they should probably fix that, but at least I have a good idea what the problem is.

It is a bug. Go into single player and in the command window type “giveallexplorernotes” and then go back to your server and check which notes still have the lock on them. I had the same issue and learned that the Megapithecus note wasn’t unlocked despite doing that boss several times.

So I have a small problem/question, for the past several weeks I've been playing on a PS4 community based ASE cluster, I started on the island like im following the storyline, the cluster is mostly dead due to ASA dropping, my issues is there is tons of dead bases, tons of high level dinos just left out, being kept from demo or claiming by tribe owners coming back to reset timers, for the past several days I've noticed that no high level dinos are spawning in, granted the island is notorious for high level dinos, but I'm not finding any Rexes, Megatheriums or even Theri's above lvl 65, so my question is; Is it a thing that the amount of high level rexes already tamed on the island slows down the spawn rate of high level wild rexes??

Trying to help a player solve the extra 10 levels for explorer notes. I got all the notes on Island before SE was released and beat all 3 bosses and Overseer and got the 10 extra levels unlocked. He did the same, however, the Guardians holograms for Brood, Monkey and Dragon are still locked, even though he's beat all 3 bosses on Alpha twice. Any ideas?
