I already did the whole song and dance with the mods, and disabled ORP, and completely removed the structure mods for good, respawned, restarted my server, and so on. No dice. The issue only affects some players and doesn't exist in single player or non dedicated.

The oasisaur is supposed to have two inventories. One common inventory and a oasis inventory. I can not access the oasis inventory in order to collect resources or resurrect tames. Official servers

Think for Daeodons you wana pump was food. Since they use thier food to heal other things. Does nothing to increase the amount healed. Just increases the amount of time they can heal before they have to eat to refill it. Wether there’s a stat that does not to my knowledge. We’ve always done food and just stacked it with basic kibbles.

For getting materials off them from harvesting you wana pump health the higher the health the more materials you’ll harvest. Depending on how crazy you get with hp and or hp mutations don’t do too many at once. I’ve crashed/severely lagged my server trying to harvest too many high hp Ovis.

I get constant crashing as well. It's ridiculously frustrating to the point I have finally just given up and am back to Evolved until it can some day be addressed. It appears that the people with high end pc's are finally being punished for having such lol. I've tried every single fix that has been posted and nothing seems to fix the crashing issue for any decent length of time. I remember when Ark Survival Evolved first launched, and all the crashing there was. Now that game is super stable even with over 20 mods running. So hopefully one day this will all be fixed.

Some times it will not crash for an hour or so, but once it crashes most times I cant even restart the game with tons of crashes in a row. Then only a validation of files will help a bit until the next crash. It also always verifies with no corrupt or missing files, all successfully validated

the map is split up into level tiles, and loads the ones around each player. if two players are far apart, the host has to load twice as much, which increases memory use and processing load massively. also means more dinos loaded, which increase it further

too much to process just slows everything down, but running out of memory is pretty final

The shovels accuracy is garbage. It never collects the plant your reticle is aimed at. It collects every grass shrub and tree in a radius AROUND your reticle, often getting whatever you're aimed at last.

But for some reason despite also being able to grab every other giant tree and cactus on the map it simply won't register the very tall thin palms around blue ob.

Not sure what's going on but every server I join i rubber band every few seconds like it's my internet. But it's not my internet. I can play any other game just fine and not lag like this. I didn't lag this bad during the 3x event either. It's just Ark an only Ark. Web pages load instantly. I get good ping in other games.

Anyone else having issues where items in their inventory or things such as storage boxes just... turn invisible? can't select them or see them at all, even if I turn the sorting filter at the bottom to 'all items'. Having an issue with the Oasisaur, when i try to tame one, i get no inventory or pop up at all. I just sit on top for 30 seconds and then it throws me off and i'm under it. Its like its had a huge Lag spike.

I plan on battling the overseer and ascending soon in (Survival evolved ps4) single player The island, and im afraid of losing my survivor, my tames, my base and everything! Plus I do wanna play as that survivor on the Scorched Earth and beyond single player too (and switch back and forth between those single player maps if possible). Is that possible? And if it does, how do I do that? Ive never EVER ascended before, neither in single player NOR online (when I still was playing online) and im scared and unsure what to do and would love for somebody with experience with this to help walk me through it when it’s time 🥺

ok, youre not gonna lose your toon or your base......you might lose a few tames though. you need a carchar for the tek cave, bring ghillie and fur, food/drink and med brews. bring element 40 is fine, jetpack with boots, maxxed out shotgun with enough shells to match the shotguns durability so if the durability is 2000 you need 2000 shells

if you want you can bring a few top teir rexes but be careful as they can easily fall into the lava

But it doesn’t answer my question though on how do i avoid losing my survivor, my base, tames and things? And can I use that survivor to do single player scorched earth after ascending (and switching back and forth between maps with both survivor and possible tames too) 😓

on SP you can do whatever you want so you should be able to go between all the maps....im not sure how to set that up though

even if your survivor vanishes, you can just use commands to get your stuff back it shouldn't happen on SP tho.

The only way I could get it to work is if I made a shortcut and added -dx11 to the target. The problem is that the game runs and looks horrible. Or don’t play on the island.

You have to make the short cut the old fashioned way. Not through the Xbox app. So manage game > browse files. Find the executable, make shortcut, edit it and add the argument. I warn you though, it won’t make you any happier.
