I mean we sit on a Dino and let mom aggro and hit the dino while the other person is in the nest trying to tame. We don’t go far away from the nest as we know baby now needs mom to go back and touch the nest every now and again after update. If that makes sense lol

Is this a server or singleplayer? If singleplayer/non dedicated, a relog may fix. If not then there's a few other things you can try. Leaving render, picking up and dropping the baby, knocking out the baby and letting it wake back up. If absolutely nothing else works then your last resort is using a previously tamed G-raptor (if you have one), killing the parent and then claiming the baby. Keep in mind, to get max taming levels from the baby, your own g-raptor must have been tamed with near perfect taming efficiency itself as well as have the full 88 manual levels pumped into it

Hello I have my own server and was messing with multipliers. I somehow made the “needs care in” timer for baby dinos to be 2 days. I looked up several multiplier guides and made more changes. No luck. Does anyone know which multiplier I need to change so the care timer is much sooner than 2 days?

You will need to change the Baby cuddle interval multiplier less than 1 to make it quicker.

Yep yep fertilised. Other people Ive spoke to on our server have said they’re having the same problem so I’m guessing it’s not just an us problem it’s a problem with the mod. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. It only started to happen after they updated the mod so you couldn’t trap the mother, before that it worked fine.

On official no you cant keep your base. If you cryo your dinos then you can keep them when you leave the tribe. You would be best to tear down your base before leaving tribe and have to rebuild

I finally got a new error in single player, 0x000(...), and using -forcerespawndinos as the startup let me back into my single player game. The question is what dino could potentially be causing it then? I'm only running KBD and Paleo Legends (in that load order) on lost island (if that matters). Do I need to flip the load order or disable the spawning of something in the .ini so I don't need the startup commands anymore?

I'm a little perplexed how to iron it out because the startup command feels a bit like a bandaid rather than a real solution.

Not technically true. Compound does more damage, and damage is related along the lines of total_torp = weapon_damage * multiplier. So more damage == more torp, but the multiplier for a crossbow is much higher, meaning torpor per cost is better, as well as being able to tame more of the fragile creatures

As was previously mentioned, a significant portion of mutation breeding is rng. When considering the amount of time it’ll take to reach 20 mutations, you have to keep in mind that server settings will significantly impact the speed to which you can reach the 20/20. Breeding intervals and maturation speed are two critical variables. Add on top of that that typically it takes anywhere from 100 to 250 eggs to get the desired mutation, and even then it’s a 50-50 chance of it being male. When everything adds up, it can take quite a while to reach your goal.

Since you can only hold one, you'll have to wait for the world save timer between each upload to be able to upload them at least. Sorry I can't give a definite answer on your actual question, but I'd imagine you can since you can put multiples in storage structures.

Hello. My issue is probably visual bug with gigantoraptor taming. I am doing everything properly - 1. dropping an egg, 2. making parent come to an egg, 3. parent is starting to eat an egg, 4. going into nest and hide in it, 5. baby is approaching me, and 6. here is a problem... - doesnt matter which nest it will be, baby is ALWAYS doing flap dance. It is never doing other dances such bow and round one.. I guess mainly because they haven't added in any cosmetics that are tied to the achievements or levels like how the birthday suite in ASE was level 100 I think. Please can someone give me more leads to try?
I have returned to playing ASE and I keep getting kicked with "kicked by battleye, bad service version" when I try joining a server/transferring. I have extensively googled and tried all the recommended steps in any article I could find. I made a ticket to battleye and got a bot response to reinstall windows....which I tried.
I have elevated battleye's permissions.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled battleye countless times.
I have made exceptions in my firewall for the service
I have verified the game files and reinstalled the game multiple times
I have reinstalled microsoft visual frameworks and updated any drivers/checked for windows updates
I have reinstalled windows completely
I have no programs running in the background (other than discord) while the game is open, so i am clueless as to what could interfere with the service. Any leads to go on at this point would be welcome, I just want to play my dino game 😦 thanks!

saddles get nonlinearly stronger at higher difficulties if loot is increased linearly with difficulty, so some of them actually get easier, and stuff like healing items dont scale, so some can be harder.. it is weird

in general, really high difficulty values play absolute hell with the game balance

I am confused about one aspect about torpor when taming, as far as I know that when you feed a downed creature a bunch of narcotics, the torpor will rise until either the combined torpor raising timer runs out or until the creature reaches it's max torpidity at which point the torpidity drops again.
Despite this being consistent in all my playtime so far I just fed a downed creature a bunch of narcotics and it reached 100% torpor and yet its staying still at 100% right now

I just did it again but got EVERY single note but 14, just bluescreened again (like pc killing itself kinda bluescreen) and it reset everything. I just got those remaining 14 and nothing popped up on my implant. Which means its hard resetting

Bluescreening is a pc issue usually. The most common cause is ram running out of space. It shouldn't happen due to a game crash

Notes, map, settings are saved clientside. What's happening is your pc is crashing without closing the game, so it corrupts the files and has to reset them

Yeah so that means that the issue you are having is not the notes. It's something else that's causing your game to crash, which can reset note animations, but it can't reset serverside note data

Go into sp, do the cheat give all notes command. That'll show you all the ones in the notebook. Rejoin the server, and the ones you don't have will be greyed out

afaik forest wyverns are only used during the forest titan fight so they aren't supposed to be in a tribe. probably why they are bugged. 🤷 my guess would be a replacement mod would be the only way to fix them.

Is anyone else having an issue with mods? Husband made us a local non-ded server, he has no problems placing structures and items down, but I can't seem to place any modded or vanilla structures down. No error messages or anything. We reinstalled mods, took some out, restarted server, reinstalled game you name it. Nothing works. Months of work lost to it. We tested it further and the same happens to him if he joins one I make instead.

Tried in trible and without. Always had problems since server was started. It seems to be a hosting issue, where only host can place things and any joining players cant. We checked permissions, admin, etc. No luck. It goes both ways as well, I make one and then nobody else can build, I join and then I cant build.

Which caves? A Baryonyx will fit in basically all of them; Sabertooth does well as well, but Bary is better in most cases, and about as big as you can go.

Yeah, Thyla will be too big for many cave situations. If you have the modded version of cryopods, you could get one in… otherwise, you’re out of luck there. Bary is probably best. Can heal super fast with fish in its inventory being forcefed.
