I've messed up my breeding a bit and it has confused me. The parents of my babies are mutated (1 parent I just didn't notice and the 2nd I got from a friend). I'm attempting to breed the base pair of my Gryphon line but the babies come out mutated even though I can see that they are not (tek binoculars). Are they actually mutated or it just says that because the parents are mutated?

Do I need to scrap this and get non-mutated parents or it won't actually affect anything?

babies from mutated parents will always have mutations added to the counter, even if they didnt actually inherit any mutations

im pretty sure you can still keep going, even if the mutation counter itself goes to some astronomical number. though it'd be recommended to get non mutated parents because if the mutation counter goes over 20, your chances are effectively halved since you can only get mutations on one parents side

Nvidia or AMD. You can find out if you're GPU bottlenecking by just running something like Riva Tuner, if it says GPU utilization 99-100%, your GPU is holding you back before anything else

Whilst that's true, a lot of new games straight up do not work on HDD's anymore. Starfield, Baldur's Gate 3, Forza Motorsport, all have issues if you use an HDD over an SSD. The games are built for the current generation consoles now which are purely SSD based and you need an SSD to play the latest games

Yeah ASA isn't one that requires it. But the streaming of textures is so high in new games that you can't do it properly on an HDD. If you play Baldur's Gate 3 on an HDD you get constant texture pop in during cutscenes. Starfield stutters when you load new areas on an HDD. Forza Motorsport also has texture pop in on an HDD. SSD's are just requirements now

• then move the same game to an ssd/nvme and i bet it performs 50% better on ssd! been gaming and building pcs for 22 years bud. im sure i know what im talking about

They're in the deep ocean and are not quite as overspawning as they were on ASE. Doing a wild dino wipe multiple times will not help unless you're waiting at least 30 minutes after each wipe and allowing the server/singleplayer time to spawn creatures.

I played all through ASE ended up playing singleplayer, no commands or high rates, I continued this into ASA where I play singleplayer only with server like rates, after 172 hrs into a save.. I cant even load in without crashing on ps5, with or without mods, settings, ect. I've deleted and reinstalled, everything. I had a 4.5k hour solo singleplayer journey on ASE with never an issue so severe as this.

• turn off dlss and frame generation (if you have a 40series gpu) known for causing crashes every 10 mins no matter how little you move or build.
• turn down foliage interaction quality and anything related to foliage. as this can cause crashing
• change from fullscreen to fullscreen borderless. this is a known issue with fullscreen exclusive in directx12.

• game pass ultimate gives you 100+ games extra to play anytime on any device. plus ability to use game pass on pc with same account
  since you stated that you have both console and pc. i would suggest getting game pass ultimate. as this gives you online play and cloud gaming across any device with a controller. through cloud beta app

if you want to play on ASE with out paying for game pass core/ultimate. i would suggest playing singleplayer.

Hi, So my question is kind of weird, but I hope it's possible.
So basically i payed for a ark server at the start of december for my friends and i but now nobody plays it anymore i don't partically won't to keep paying $33AU a month, just so i can keep playing it.
I'm on ps5 so i can't take the server save files and turn it into a singleplayer so i asked nitrado if it was possible to pay for a one slot server so i'm not paying so much for just one person but they said they can't.
so basically my friend has a pc with ASA and i was thinking if it was possible for him to take the server save file and turn it into a single player world for me and then i could sign in using his account on my playstation and play it. So is this even possible to do

send your friend your saved folder from the server.

• tell them to use the steam ark ascended server tool.
• startt up the server once. for 5 mins.
• turn it off navigate to the dedicated server folder. and replace the server saved folder with yours.
• it should load up.
• once in if the friend would let you grab your tribe you had prior you use cheats to force yourself back into your tribe by aiming your reticle at your structure or tame.
• use cheat forceplayertojointargettribe 0
• then once in the tribe use cheat maketribefounder to make you the owner.

Unridden megatheriums kind of suck against bm. Ridden ones are awesome though. I would personally advise getting a decent rex army backed up with a yuty and ditching the megas if you're flying solo.

Start a new save. It's all anyone can do when faced with one, regardless of what game it is.

it sucks but all games run the risk of it happening. You do not want to know how many hours I've lost in Skyrim to saves corrupting out of nowhere. Or Pokemon, for that matter, especially the older games.

So inside the "official" nitrado server general settings I'm looking for "daytime" "nighttime" speeds or just a clock reset anything.
