possibly , but its not actually loading anything, you can try deleting them, there fast to reinstall, then test again .
still no joy verify files, still no joy, just delete ark in steam, clear steam cahe, delete that entire ark ascended folder, reinstall game,
test, if single player works, close game, pop your save files back in an test

seems like it a game error not your save files though so thats is a positive

Any mountain on the island is a good place to tame one. Chose the one you can travel to the safest

Kill dangerous creatures, generally things that will attack you unprovoked like aggressive carnivores or things that attack when you get close like chalicos or therizinos. Raptor Claus also likes it when you tame creatures but generally killing predators is easier

Mountains and redwoods. There's also the Mosh Pit location on the western side of the island that uses mountain spawns and is a good place to find them. Creatures in that location respawn immediately as you leave render distance and being packed into a small space like that they pick fights with each other. Doeds however will curl up when they take too much damage and aggressors will stop targeting them, so there are usually a few left over

You have to have an online cryofridge nearby, they have a radius and they need to be powered for 5 minutes before you can deploy. You can't just deploy creatures anywhere at will now

I'm not sure then, works fine for me. When you power the fridge on it has a countdown timer for 5 minutes and after that time you should be able to deploy them.

I've read that gas masks prevent contracting Swamp Fever. Does that just apply to contracting it through players and dodos or does a gas mask also prevent contracting it through a diseased leech? I've been trying to get it so I can get the achievement for curing it; my settings does have diseases enabled but so far diseased leeches in the Swamp Cave haven't diseased me. A lot of games have their achievements disabled by mods but I don't believe ark does. The achievements have been known to be buggy however and sometimes don't trigger, or are massively delayed

Had it go both ways in my playthrough, got a raptor baby that jumped to 225, got a stego that stayed at 150 and then got a rex that is 225. Raptor was launch week, stego last month, rex last week.

You might have bred a fem and male each with muts or bred a female with mut with a clean male, the mut doubles up

That is why it is advisable to only breed the male with mut to non mutated, clean females

There is an app that really helps a lot with organising your dinos but its a little fiddly to setup called Ark Smart Breeder. You can export dino stats to it and see which ones have muts and which are good to breed

Hi! I wonder if anyone would be able to help. On my friends server, we have installed the ‘Crazy’s Taggolicus Dinos’ mod, since downloading the mod we have not seen any of the Deinonychus In the mod. We have been killing Wild dino’s over and over all over the map to try and get them to spawn. So I have a few main questions really

Does anyone know if the Deinonychus actually spawn and if they do, do they have specific area to spawn in? Are the spawn rates low?

Hello, playing ASA with the Draconic Chronicles mod, and I’m trying to tame a crystal wyvern should be, from my understanding, the same as a crystal wyvern from ASE. And for the most part it is, but I need help with taming it specifically
I have primal crystals n such, that’s not really an issue, it’s just getting to the wyvern. All guides I see recommend waiting for the wyvern to land before hopping on and proceeding to feed it, but these wyverns just refuse to land.

It’s obviously just a bug from the mod itself, but how can I tame them without them landing? I have tried chasing after them on what flyers I do have (an argy, ptera and griffin) but they are both too slow and I’m not confident enough whenever I do get close enough to try and land on them mid flight.
Would luring them into a trap, leaving to de-aggro, then returning work?

you can try eating rare flower, this has an eefect that will agro all creatures too you , even passive ones, then have it chase u into trap !
this might not work with a mod(side note doesnt work with quetzal or tapejara on asa it shud i think)

yeah dont try that. the game itself needs 16gb. and a dedicated server can need anything form 8gb up to 24gb. so your pc would need a total of 32gb of ram to play the game and host a pc dedicated server

For the past four days I've had completely random crashing with fertilized eggs. I'm not sure why I get away with it, I not only have Fluid and Foliage interaction on, I have the sliders full on to the right. I have all settings on Epic and, I suspect perhaps the reason, I even have DLAA on instead of DLSS. On top of that, I even use UE5 commands to improve the rendering of clouds past ASA Epic standards and I don't crash. The only exceptions were: a) I turned on Frame Gen and crashed in minutes, b) I accidentally manipulated 2 different commands to high performance demands at the same time and c) A really weird one lately that was:

Yeah, that's a big part of the reason I wanted to share. I came from a 2060 Super build a few weeks ago, saving was a standard part of my operating procedure. Land a flier, save, stop for stam, save, opening storage, save. The crashing was so very painful. Having the priviledge of playing on a better machine has made me question certain assumptions I had though, like Fluid and Foliage interactions just being broken, there's clearly more depth to it. Perhaps RAM? Perhaps Virtual Memory? Perhaps that could be, offset a little be a massive Page File. Maybe DLSS isn't as innocent as it seems, another difference between the same me, the same save, the same playstyle as before. So wanted to share.

for mod issues, close game , right click in steam , manage browse local files, goto shootergame/binaries/win64shootergame, there will be two folders, mods and mod user data, delete everyhting in both ,
clear steam cache, restart pc. shud fix it

Logically there must be something deeper as you say. From what I’ve seen its more of a pc issue than console which would imply some kind of hardware difference being the culprit. Hopefully they’re plugging away at it behind the scenes. I don’t remember everything I tried specifically but I did try every combination of RTX settings imaginable to no avail. I didn’t crash using my 2080 super before I upgraded, but I had foliage interaction off to compensate for worse performance. Beats me!

Well, if that narrows it down to 2 options as Roy says, maybe open Task Manager to get the GPU/CPU temp graphs then try again, then look at it right after. See if anything pushed up into unhealthy and past saving by throttling temps

the single player world file or charchter file is likely corrupt too, in the pinned messages is a fix for that save me typing it out 4th one down by sythra , if u dont care about your old world, just delete everything in there

Can you download a mod Map, try loading in with no other mods. Then if it works, leave, add 1 of your mods, load in again. Keep going until it either doesn't crash and you've added all, or one particular mods antagonises a crash.

Just trying to test things to track down if it's your save file or a particular mod. Given that you say you've wiped your SP, maybe it's a particular mod issue, or, a mod conflict

I dunno, what do you mean by 'game'? My ASA folder has 900 Files, 385 Folders but we would have different crash reports. What did verifying say? What is the file path you are looking for your saved file?
