Why can you not see drops when Global Illumination Quality is set to Low? This is the prefered optimisation setting for my GPU. It has to be set on Low or the game crashes. Are devs planning on making drops visible on this setting? Or do I just not get to have access to the drops?

I'm not sure why you would have a difference between servers, though if you're moving faster than normally would be expected, you're probably driving the GPU harder

SO I have just lost 3 torches in a row. I don't know exactly when it happened.. but I first lost an ascendend one which i was pissed about! But I thought.. maybe i stuffed up somehow. I always have them in my last slot.. 0 slot.. never ever had an issue. Then I just noticed it was gone.. though.. crap.. must be player error. So i replaced it with a spare not as good.. then after an hour or two.. noticed it's gone.. WTF?!? Now I'm thinking.. no way.. no way it was player error.. not two of them. in single player when i whistle attack on a boss, the dinos run in a straight line to the boss and attack until it dies. But when i whistle attack on official they run in circles for a minute or two, and when they finally get to the boss they wont attack. Any idea why?

My local buddies and I play in official and we’ve lost 3 tamed dinos who have just despawned. Nothing in tribe log. I think the game thinks the dinos are “outside the map” and they just get wiped. I dont think there is anything we can do. Just a thing devs have to fix.

Ark dinos only range from 1 to 30. The number you put in the Override is the multiplier. so 5 would be 150, 10 would be 300, 20 would be 600, etc. Also be sure to do a destroywilddinos command after you restart the server.

Playing on single player xbox series X. Had some major probs recently.
Had to uninstall most of the mods, only keeping Turkey trial and ASR. Logged in, did a couple of hours, logged out. Went back an hour later and all my armour, ammo and Kibble had been deleted. Not only the stuff I'm wearing but everything in my inventory and storage.
And all the rare flowers out of the fridges(about 1000). The Arm implant thingy isn't in my inventory either. Not sure what happened but it's a huge pain when I'd planned to go out and tame a few Queen bee's.
Is it the Mods that is causing the huge bugs or the settings?

Our server restarted on its own, so now its spawining me back to about 5 mins before the reset at our homoe base which is fine, but the game now thinks theres a giant rock on our base, so it spawns me into this giant rock in this base and the game freaks out and times me out, what should I do because the rock technically doesnt exist and the game just thinks it does after the server reset

Basically you'll want to turn on 'Fly', then 'Ghost' then move out the rock, in 10 seconds.

You could just turn on Ghost, but you'll fall through the floor and probably get mesh killed

however little tip, do not try and kill a wild giga with your tamed giga or imprinted giga because a wild giga has bleed, and your tame one does not.

You can kill a titan with a tame or raised giga, but try to walk backwards in a straight line whilst biting so that the titan does not enrage your giga, which will cause it to kill you

Still having this issue... Does anyone know what might potentially be wrong? ASE singleplayer with Small Bosses, S+, Awesome Spyglass, Simple Spawners, and Dino Storage v2. My survivor has completed all alpha island bosses (including tek cave), alpha manticore, alpha crystal wyvern queen, and probably others I've forgotten. I definitely 100% have the tek dedicated storage tekgram. I can make the damn things, but when I try to place it, it's green, but won't actually place and doesn't leave my inventory. I've tried disabling and reenabling the tekgram, going into creative, etc, nothing seems to fix it. Any ideas at all as to wtf is going on?

this is what i used: The second critical thing to know is that this mod uses the base level range, so to figure out what value to put in the min or max level .ini option, simply divide the desired level you want by your difficulty value.

Hi! I wonder if anyone would be able to help. On my friends server, we have installed the ‘Crazy’s Taggolicus Dinos’ mod, since downloading the mod we have not seen any of the Dinos from the mod in the map at all. We have been killing Wild dino’s over and over all over the map to try and get them to spawn. So I have a few main questions really

Does anyone know what the spawn rates are and where these Dinos spawn, do they have specific areas to spawn in? Are the spawn rates low? Do we need to to do a full dino wipe with admin commands for them to start spawning?

I would appreciate the help 🙂

idk, if its with nitrado than restart is the only method given to update. if its non-nitrado than you'll have to follow whatever update and backup protocol you have cause it can get differnt quickly in that space.

there is a spot where when it is outside the barrier, you can hit it with a dino from inside (from teleport pad, follow left wall until the structures are there - it is a low spot - dragon sits there some times while waiting) - we actually did about 25% damage to it there when we ran out of shotgun shells (first time we did it on ASA, didn't know about it being outside the barrier and not landing)

Are dino base stats different in ASA? For example, the Wiki and Dododex both say that a Bronto's base health is 2070, but I have a bronto that is 1863. I have other tames that also have lower values, or odd values that are inbetween two set values, than what is indicated on the Wiki and Dododex. I'm taming level 5 creatures to breed down to level 1.

I keep trying, or persevering with ASA SP. (Xbox Series X) Giving it a go, see how we go. Hoping we canactually play the game.
Tonight, again had 3hrs or so. New cunundrum.
It's logged the tames I made but all the equipment from loot crates, what I crafted and all the Kibble has gone after I dod a quick check after logging out of the game.
I'm pressing save game on the button and also on admin commands "Cheat Saveworld" and "Saveworld".
The little test I did was, knockout a casteroids after it attacked my base because I emptied it's beaver dam.
Put all the stuff in a Storage box, and logged out.
Logged back in, Casteroids still knocked out, Storage crate empty, inventory empty, ammo gone.
WTF is going on? We simply can't make any progress like this, it's ridiculous!

Wild Card, if you're reading this sort it out ffs.

can somebody help me i have a mate which got all notes yeah he also cheated all notes in singleplayer to see which ones are missing he also did all bosses, got all 4x notes, got all notes in ascension and did ascension so its definitly not his fault so does somebody know how to fix this so that he gets his 10+ lvls(and yeah he already killed his self)

My guess is that the mods removed but the removal hand shake with control has left the mod partially activated on console side of things. As official is still saying with mods.

Interestingly trying to browse mods, the pages can take up to 5 minutes to change or not even work at all until restart. Try to go past page 5, no dice. Just won't do it at all. On Xbox anyways.

It has a higher risk of killing smaller creatures but is very easy to make ammo for, which the larger creatures can take a lot of ammo to take down. However, if you have a better longneck and access to the resources to craft the darts, then go ahead and use that.

normal is based on your settings. you have indicated max difficulty is off so you now have control of two different values to set your own custom difficulty:
Difficulty Value = (1 + DifficultyOffset) * (Official Difficulty - 0.5) + 0.5

Question: (new here) Me and my brother started a server for fun and I was wondering if there is a way to make stats different for a lvl 40 dino versus a 120, cuase sometimes it feels like they are close like the 40 will have 500 stam and the 120 will have 560 stam.
