Honestly both are good options it depends if your doing mutations or not, if your doing mutations for your army you might as well go do caves in between breeding but if your rates are crazy and you don’t plan on mutating caves first can be the way to go. Plus if you do caves first you have a chance at finding a good saddle blueprint which can help you decide what Dino’s to use for your army depending on how good the blueprint is.

Hi everyone, have an ASA trouble shooting question :).

I’m playing singleplayer on PS5 and am getting established and started breeding.

I have bred and imprinted pteranodons and everything is functioning as normal. I then bred and imprinted trikes. I completed all the prompts for the imprint to take place. However, the trikes only received the 20% stat boost. They do not receive the ridden damage and defense buffs unlike the pteranadons.

Any ideas what may be happening here? For more context, the trikes do not have an imprint bar on their stat sheet while the pteranadons do.

I solved this problem by spawning and consuming a mind wipe tonic. Not sure what causes this. I believe it's due to the server not saving your character data properly. Mind-wiping does remedy the issue though.

There is no current setting to adjust the appearance of greenhouse glass. Painting them doesn't do anything to transparency either. You'll need a mod for new structure pieces, or wait and see if WildCard gives us a transparency slider.

The mod is essentially de-activated. It won't hurt anything keeping it. Besides eating your available hard drive space. If the mod returns later, you'll be able to deal with it in the correct fashion.

Yup, unfortunately. According to others, doing a dino wipe and setting your dino count to 0.5 fixes it but i tried it and it only partially saved. Kept all the creatures i tamed but inventories were still rolled back. Hopefully it works for you

Let’s just say that didn’t end so well. They tranqed me and put me in a handcuffs. I woke up hours later in a wooden cage in their “prison system”. I don’t know what is about to happen but please come rescue me my cords are 34.2 74.1

Go into your setting and there should be one called either force max difficult or force max Dino level to 150, that should raise your Dino levels up to the normal 150 max.

You are "allowed" to build where you want. There are no official rules i guess. If you are playing PvP it wont last very long and If you play pve, people will be really pissed if you block spawns (especially beaver dams)

We have lshould be able to tame/breed like 100 more creatures but its blocked by this limit , was it a thing in old ark, never saw it before. btw if i remeber correct tribe tame limit was like 300 or 400 on old ark here its only 250 ? they reduce numer of dinos and didnt give us cryos ? we could transfer somewhere else if you can pickup stuff but but transfer is off. what we can do in thios situation? wait? if we try kill dinos other tribes could just claim stuff in our place so it change nothing .

Here's an easy fix. Unlike ASE, ASA has a problem with the map. The latitude and longitude are in the wrong order. Constantly gets everyone on my server confused on which direction to go to each other's bases. And also because of your censorship issues with global chat we can't correct that

So here's an interesting issue. I just tamed my first giga. Read that it needed alot of Narcs. So my narc's had narc's. Found a nice level 55 and tamed it. After the tame was done it started to build up torpidity. Any reason why? I fed the thing pre tame almost 300 narc's. Are the narc's still causing an issue?

So, I just checked my settings, and I have max difficulty turned on and my difficulty level is at 1. I also have single player settings turned on. And after you put those settings, go into your world and open up the console command, then type in, cheat DestroyWildDinos then after a while level 5 dinos will spawn into your world.

there is no difference in grow times between sized crop plots per the wiki and multiple videos. the biggest difference is smalls can only do berries, mediums can do veggies and berries and larges can do veggies berries and Plant Species X.

You want a double wall to prevent the aggro from reaching through. As long as you odn't have dino's against your wall this should work. It's work for me on land unsure if it will work for a water pen, but hey it's work a shot. You don't need to 1:1 this build. the unexpected results of his walls made it where nothing really aggro'd to the things inside of the walls that were land based. Flyers still did but like carno's and raptors just hang around it and don't do anything.

The arrow going left to right in the inventory should move everything, I haven’t been able to find a button combination to move it just to your inventory like you do with L1

It’s always been a thing if you pump to much in to them, yes it will keep building when they wake up. Normally when you don’t WAY over do the narcotics it doesn’t keep going when they tame. Only use what you need to avoid this problem.
