yeah for theris make a 4x4 stone box with door frame and a ramp u eat a rare flower close to it and run to the ramp it follows u and will be trapped if u go out the door frame u need rareflower or they walk past the trap

and rexes are slow just tranq them and run shoot run shoot run easy tame

@lucid oyster basicly right now the most simple trap is dino gates atm for the bigger dino. if you have a quetz you can pick up some of the bigger dino but nothing as big as a rex. simple would be to get beh gates with an argy and fly to the end and close up the doors behind the rex before it can turn around.

I figured out a solution. Go to battlemetrics and search up your server. Copy the IP. Go into single player and press ~ to open the console then type open xx.xxx.xx.x:xxxx replace X with server IP you got off of battlemetrics

make sure none of your settings got altered or reset, not being able to pick up wild dinos is usually because you have PvE enabled and PvEFlyerCarry disabled, the fix is to either disable PvE or enable PvEFlyerCarry in your server settings-

Hoping someone can point me into the right direction or give advice. Got ASA when it released, was then running a GeForce 1080 graphics card and crashing when going through inventories (didn’t matter what inventory, my own, Dino, item, etc) got a new GeForce 4060 ti graphics card, frames are much better, running smooth, but still crashed (not as frequently) will be running file check on steam once I’m home (can’t remember what it’s actually called). Any other advice or anyone know how to sold this problem? Also running 32 GB Corsair vengeance RAM, and AMD Ryzen 5 so that’s not the problem.

Still no fix discovered that lets me play on series x/1tb with 55% free space. Uninstalled/redownloaded/restarted/hard reset/delete sp data/etc all tried multiple times. there is a few settings you can turn off to reduce them, this is an ASA issue so everyone is getting them often, you can turn off inventory transitions, and turning off the clouds and fog also seems to make them more infrequent. It tends to happen the most tho when you are moving a bunch of stuff around in your inventory-

right click game in steam, go to manage ,browse local file.. this will show you where it is saved too on your pc. Go up one level using the up arrow on screen, this will show a folder named "Ark Survival Ascended".... keep this folder on a tab for now.
Go back to steam and unistall the game, then go back to your folder tab an delete that ark ascended folder
Reinstall game an you will be getting a 100% fresh install

This one controls the LOD quality so 0 = detailed and anything greater than 0 equals not as detailed. Though this one is a bit more risky so use it with caution.

You should be able to connect using console command. The servers are not down so there is an issue between your client and the server search list. Its a common issue at the momment that seems to keep coming up. Most have been able to use command.

Open to the main menue then open console. Type connect then ip

open EndGame_Ascension_WP Spawns you into a random galaxy. Don't know what exactly it's supposed to be. I suspect the unloaded version of the Ascension cutscene
GFID (ItemID) Gives you whatever you're trying to spawn into your inventory. This works for the final boss trophies)
ark.DisableFluidSim Disables the ingame fluid sim for optimization

Any Ark Devkit modders know if the function "Get BPDino Ancestors from Non BP" works correctly? It seems to get the female dino ID1 and ID2 fine but the Male Dino ID2 is always reporting as 0 and ID1 has the value that ID2 would be.

On console there's an issue with the foam where the water hits the shore. In a few areas it works fine but in a lot it's got a weird boarder where it cuts off before the beach. Any console commands that can remove it for now ? I'd assume its a bug but is it a known issue ?

Need to mess with Xbox and tv settings …go to xbox settings >tv display > calibrate tv it will help you line up the screen

I having this exact same issue, screen too wide so it cuts off the health Stan bar icons. Spent last hour thinking my xbox or TV was broken -_- now realise its ark lol

i think i fix it i just went into geforce and selected the optimized settings for ark and then ran it again and so far so good. instead of epic i went down to high to get the extra 25 frames to sit around 110FPS

Great ur where able to solve it that easily without reducing the grafics to much, altough turning off foliage and fluid interaction keeps me from crashing it also makes small rocks float here and there

@halcyon summit if your trying to join official you can check battlemetrix for an ip if you join unofficial they normally have the info in their discords. With the ip go to ark main menu open consol and type open: ip:port it should join a server for you
