I suggest reporting ASA on its steampage as broken, there is a little flag you can submit a report from. I hate to be that guy...but this is where we are at now, all patches are server fixes(thats where the money is,nitrado overlords), and they refuse to even mention the numerous crashreports we keep sending in. Report the game, FORCE them to fix this, becasue as of now its not even approved to be a EA game, it doesnt work.

underwater dinos pathing makes me sad, I had a meg pack, took it into a water cave. I had spent weeks raising up the babies and 2 of my megs glitched into the wall and had to be left behind and died. I wish this was an isolated incident but it seems trying to have things follow you underwater just leaves them getting stuck on literally everything or pushed into walls/the floor/ falling infinitely, RIP Bruce and Nemo. Hey, I'm having an issue on ASA where my game will crash 100% of the time if opening the spawn screen, or character creation menu.
This only happens on multiplayer servers.

I've tried messing with RTX settings, DLSS, etc. Nothing seems to change it in that aspect.
I usually play on low-medium settings. I only started getting this issue about a week ago.

I have noticed that playing on medium settings will get rid of the spawn screen issue, but the character creation menu screen crash still occurs.

My graphic drivers are up to date as well.
Are there any specific settings or recommendations to use to mitigate these issues?

It can happen if you reduce your resource respawn distance too much, that's why its not recommended to go below 0.5 otherwise stuff can easily spawn inside your dino pens and right next to your base structures, it directly influences spawns of dinos not only resources

Depending on the boss your using them for. Ideally not dragon as they take full dmg from him vs A herbivore. But Hp/Dmg priority. If your riding one some stamina don’t hurt. And the highest wild tamed stats you can get to shorten mutation stacking.

It needs to be mounted somewhere with wind. Depending on the map you are on you may find that hard to do.

Water Wells only go on a specific place on the ground - water veins which is sounds like you're trying. If you try that, it should give you a notification at the top of your screen when you do and it fails. Something like 'no snapoints available'

that cave has a insane spawn rate of creatures so just take it slow and i would recommend having 2 sets or more if you can of your gear

and turn harvesting off because it can overweigh your Bary so quickly in there

1. It's because you're on epic that's why you're crashing there is people with $4000-$8000 computerd crashing too
2. Running epic graphics while nitrado servers r shit making the issue 2x worse than it has to be RIP

You do have to fly pretty close. Make sure their autoharvest is on, not following, neutral stance.

In the ini, underneath the [ServerSettings] header, you would put:

ASA:

OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5```

ASE (ASE adds all those zeros by itself but I'm pasting it as-is from my ini):

DifficultyOffset=1.000000
OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.000000

This should give you 150 max level dinos.

Menus have crazy issues right now which is why people were turning menu transitions off. Im getting on average 80fps with all settings on epic with foliage and liquid on (about 4 on each one) on a 4080. You must be having conflicts between your drivers and UE 5. Those conflicts are the most common crash right now, to my knowledge.

There is one spot next to the swamp that's kinda-sorta safe to build? specifically that patch of land just north of the gulch. that being said, you absolutely want a 2-story building, preferably of at least stone because murder turkeys are fairly common there.

Tame a stegosaur and swamp is easy if you a low lvl.

1. Kapros can't unmount you
2. Stego can farm berries, rare flowers, mushrooms, wood, thatch, and so on.
3. The stego is tanky and a power house to fight just about anything in the swamp.

Stego will help you settle in the swamp and build your base

U ever used a stego as a starter? I tamed a few high lvl ones in different servers (official) as starter. They can legit go through the swamp and mess up dozens of kapros, snakes, and sarcos alone. I've also gone through snow in them and even mess up yutys with packs of carnos. Now that you can find op Saddles in loot drops it's even better slap a 60 or 120 armor on that stego and he a beefy boy I doubt a rhynio gonna kill it. Legit only disadvantage this thing has is that it's slow if they were fast they would be busted.

Has anyone experience a bug in game when someone in your tribe dies, you can hear their mic in game, even if they have it disabled in their settings? And only when they're dead, as soon as they respawn it stops doing that.

I know that could technically work but it was my first tame on ASA and I’m upset about there not even being a taxidermy tool available yet. I should be able to force heal a corpse sense it has a health stat. Also the only possible way to save him isn’t available as extinction isn’t out as I can force the corpse into a crying but when I tried it the server crashed. I’m upset because out of every Dino in my base the only 2 that get attacked and killed are my first 2 tames. I have like 160 Dino’s now why did they have to go for those ones. Thanks for the help though as it was probably my best bet if I wanted to get at least the idea of them back.

And it happened to be when I turned the plant x off of kill everything because a titanasaur (bad spelling) was walking to my base so I was having them temp off. I even have them gated in but for some reason Dino’s can sometimes spawn inside the gates even.
