How to make it so my AsA stops taking 15 of my 16RAM on all low settings and no fluid/interactions?? Personally from what I seen, I think there is a bug where you are encumbered and can't run, but it doesn't tell you that you are encumbered.. I think they just have the numbers incorrect in their formulas. I find that if I just take a little more weight off I'm fine (on foot, I don't have a flyer yet)

When I push the hot key to whistle all, attack my target, instead it puts them on aggressive. Right now you can't even whistle to all with the hotkey to put them on attack my target, completely broken. Also in the keyboard section the word attack is misspelled.. they're probably doing text matching and that's why it doesn't work.

You can use spiked walls if you want to put them directly on the ground, or you can use the little foundation strips that let you put a wall directly on top without putting down a full foundation. I think they're available in wood, stone, and metal

i would try to do the following... first, i would download winscp and connect via FTP to download the savedarks folder (to save your map and character/tribes etc). then i would do a server reinstall. then put your savedarks back in there

Soo, not sure if all of us having this problem are having the exact same issue but i believe i found my culprit, my CPU staying at around 100% all of the time and then looking at more stuff to render in and show causes my game to freeze. My cpu seems to be stuck trying to do stuff and then i throw a 10000 more things at it and its like instant death. unforunately they do not stay on restart. you can try to put them in your local gameusersettings.ini but i dont know if that works. I was thinking about a way to make that easier - you can look into a program called auto-hotkey that you can set up to automatically enter that for you with a keyboard button press without too much hassle

I'm having constant issues around 43, 91 where all of my dinosaurs keep falling through the map on my singleplayer world. I think it's happening when I leave render distance, since I never see it happen and it's always when I return to base. The dinosaurs I've kept specifically on the beach are fine, but once you go up the hill closer to the forest they just cannot stay above ground once you leave.

I'm about to attempt to see if laying foundations down will "support" them and keep them from falling, but plenty of my little dinosaurs that can't fly and I can't ride to the surface are just trapped under the world.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm guessing I'll probably have to move base locations but god it's frustrating and I'd like to get my little fellas back.

[ASA] Argentavis Dropping Tribemates Shortly After Picking
When picking up the tribemate I am able to fly with him for a short period of time. It seems as if when I 'sprint' on the argentavis it will drop him. Multiple other people on the server have had the same issue. Unable to confirm if this is the case with other flyers at the moment. The bird is full stamina, weight is not an issue, and it is not clipping the tribemate through the ground or flying vertically. Happened with multiple different argentavis and we cannot travel more than a few meters with a tribemate being carried.

The server is a private PvP server and the flyer pick pve setting is enabled as well. This is in Ark: Survival Ascended (ASA)

I noticed something weird, maybe it will help others. I have 3 monitors in use. When I have Ark running, one of my monitors works fine, the other one feels laggy as hell. The more windows/apps I have on that laggy monitor, the more often ark crashes. When I move everything off and run the same apps/workload on my other monitor, no crashes or issues, no lag etc. So if you have multi-monitors and are crashing or having issues, try moving everything off one screen, or unplugging the thing all together.

That's a Client command, not Server.
But you can add it somewhere in ARK Survival Ascended/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/Windows/ in one of those .ini

I need help. I have 5 servers that I will occasionally run concurrently on one machine, but I really only need one to boot from server manager or at most two at any given time. Is there a way to keep the other server profiles from automatically trying to load?

The resolution for anything other than 1080p seems to cause issues with location of where things are suppose to be to click, If playing on 4k for example, quite often buttons/options in inventory, esc menu etc will randomly only work in the 1st quadrant of the screen (ie top left) and becomes rather annoying to a point where you just have to play on 1080p to not have the issue (Windowed borderless, Also happens to a friend on 1440p)

I have no idea why this was so bugged but I finally tamed it

Have not had that issue but have been unable to grow crops without full greenhouse. On ground or uncovered stone foundations they turn to unseeded after a time. They where irrigated and had poop in.

I'm done with this. I've experienced countless crashes which I have reported on the bug report section of their forums several times and have been monitoring the patch-notes on this discord, They only seem to be working on fixing enough things to please Nitrado and shove the game out to consoles, At least that's what it looks like from the outside. I've been waiting 18 days for an official patch to fix the CTD and before you suggest it's something on my end, it's not the PC i'm on is a month old system and has top of the line components and this crash is happening to a lot of people not just me. I've given up hope that this will be fixed anytime soon seeing ASE's rough history. I just reported the game as broken on the store page using the little flag icon. I suggest if you are having crashes you do the same.

How to prevent items from randomly disappearing? I encountered this first time yesterday (to my knowledge) when at least my fur hat and shoes, hide boots and blue crossbow disappeared from the storage box and also water tank and cooking pot (which were placed outside) had disappeared when I logged back after ~16 hours of being offline. Playing on an unofficial server (no mods), and the admin checked that there was no server rollback (plus the clothes were crafted a long time ago + the cooking pot was placed earlier than some of the house parts which were still present). Also checked 50/50, no luck

insane right me and a friend both ahve 4090, i9 13900k and 32 gb of ddr5 6000mhz and we where crashing like crazy earlier before we figured that in our instance it was foliage and fluid interaction that caused us to crash

I keep getting a Fatal Error, whenever I’m in any base usually as soon as I come out of my inventory or a chest, smithy etc. I get a Fatal Error and crash. I turned off inventory animation and sounds, verified my files, reinstalled my game, updated my drivers, lowered my graphics settings (I get 80fps constant on medium, turned down to low) and nothing seems to work, but it only ever happens when I’m in a base, if anyone’s got a solution for me I would greatly appreciate it ❤️

That is by design, the way you need to torp a giga is let it drain a lot of its torpor and then feed it a lot of berries or narcotics, what you want it that thicc juicy timer going up, not the one going down 😉

Has anyone else been having crashes that literally lock the operating system to the point where your pc is unusable? I've had this happen 3 times now where my pc just locks up and I have to hard shut down my pc.

I am running a server on my own computer but resource monitor says it should be fine, however it doesn't allow me to figure out if it's the server causing the OS lockup or the game, but I'm going to assume it's the game and something with directx

majority of the time I'll get a crash error message and the game will close with an unhandled exception trying to access a memory address or a directx hang but this has only happened to me today and it sucks a lot

NVIDIA drivers can lead to such things too, check if you have the latest driver Version 546.01 and test with them, Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), that tool cleans all Nvidia drivers trough windows safe mode, then you install new one, maybe that helps.
