in my case the beam of light (i’m assuming the colored one connecting to the drop is what you’re talking about?) is linked to view distance. apparently on high and epic you can see it but not on lower. at least that’s what fixed it for me. hope this helps some!

Hey guys this is more of an issue that has to do with dedicated servers.

I have a dedicated server that is ran from my home on a seperate computer (120 GB RAM) and is pretty decent overall.

However my issue is after a big update completes when I open SteamCMD with by BAT file it closes the server updates but the server closes down straight away.

My partner used Chat GPT to figure out what the error was. Everytime you get that error you have to erase the tribe file and do a roll back.

This is really annoying.

You get the eggs off abb and take them over. You can also use magma egg i believe. But you just transfer the eggs from one map to the next.

@ember iris that makes it alot harder you would be in radiation zone and dino will be constantly dieing without mushroom soup. For yourself you would need hazmat suits to stay alive. And your dura would go down. Also getting off the map is hard there is no obelysk there so you have to use drops that spawn on the ground.

Short answer finish island bosses first lol. Then grab fed suit on gen2 and put some transmiters around lol.

Okay I'm struggling like crazy trying to tame a Hyaenodon and idk what's happening. I've got it trapped so it can't move and every time I pet it, it's taming meter increases by 12% and then it literally just depletes that 12% before I can pet it again. The best thing that I can suggest at that point is start a new game and use admin commands to catch up to where you left off quickly.

Okay glad you got it fixed. To answer your original question, I believe the short answer is yes but I have not tried it yet. You would have to download the mod from CurseForge and place the files in the right location in your game directory. Sounds easy enough but when I looked at my mods directory I noticed that each mod is stored within a root folder containing a lot of numbers. This root folder is not included in the mod that you download from CurseForge. Instead, the mod from CurseForge contains a root folder using the mod's name. I do not know if this would cause a problem or not.

This can refer to a lot of different kinds of errors. We cannot know which one you are talking about.

Ill copy it next time it happens. The game just kept crashing with that error every 5 minutes or so after opening an inventory, opening engramms or just running around basically. Didn't know there's much variation of that error. ^^

That sounds like you were experiencing multiple errors. The inventory/menu errors have been worked on according to patch notes, but I still get them frequently. Specifically, it happens to me a lot when closing containers and crafting stations after moving some items. I have made a habit to save my game prior to performing tasks like that. Otherwise, a lot of crashes have been fixed since launch so I can only suggest giving it another go.

Hey, were running a dedi ark, has like 5 ppl online with only the island. Server has great hardware, but the server freezes intermittently for like 3-5 whole seconds. then it unfreezes and everything that would happen happens and dinos die an stuff

Things like when I start up ark it "forgets" my old character and I have to start all over, the game loads infinitely and I have to restart ark, crashing so i'm set back 10 or so minutes due to the save timer (if it actually saved), etc...

Yes. Ascended is extremely graphically intense, and depending on how high you have your graphic settings, it's likely to take up a lot of power.

Unless it's changed Beehives do not have specific spawns, but more so "areas" if I recall correctly you'd find it in the Redwoods, and sometimes on the cliffs north of Green Ob.

Advice for harvesting would be use a Direbear to prevent any harm to yourself, or a full ghille suit.
Also put in a fridge ASAP and keep on a tame as you transport it to extend it's spoil timer. 🙂

Idk exactly what it is but temp fix could be search names in steam server list could help. But try verify files. The other thing is if net cant handle it sometimes it will only load so many. Without seeing the settings its kinda hard to figure out without going all the way back to uninstall and remove saved settings.

For some stupid reason the devs have decided to make it so if you leave (or crash) on singleplayer before resources have respawned they will never respawn again unless you use re fertilizer

I reckon it's because when the server shuts down, the voip service is one of the last things to go. So player positional data which is needed to determine "should x player hear y player" no longer exists, so for a brief moment the distance restrictions are none existent, so you get to hear all the active voips at once regardless of where you are!

That is a issue with many UE5 games make sure you have drivers up to date of everything(intel driver utility for some but also bios and gpu drivers) make sure windows is up to date

Hi all. Having what I think is a weird problem, so am asking for help please. I have my dif et to easy (because I suck at the game) and then further pumped up weight.
Stats/Adds per level are both set to 1s, but my L80 Moschop ended up with almost 10K health, and over 2,500% damage.
Is that right or what might be wrong?

Steps I have taken: Sync system time. Power cycled PC. Power cycled router and modem. Checked integrity of game files. I am able to connect to private servers.

I'd level them up.
I bred two rexes when they were around half way of thier max level. They produced a baby with around 1.5K HP. When they were max level and breeded the baby rex was born with 2.9K HP. So yeah I'd breed them if you want extra bonuses for better results
