Yeah, male has the mutation, breed male to clean females, then try to see if mutation has been here to add a +2 to it (base female is 346, male is 350, searching for 352) First i was hatching eggs in batch of 5 four times then i picked back some eggs. Upgraded my setup to hatch them and now it's 10 hatch at the same time, i have hatched like 40 eggs out of the 100 i have kept, and no mutation so far for health again

I’m a returning player and a while ago I had trilobites spawning and everything was fine. But now every single world I go into there are no trilobites anywhere and trust me I have checked everywhere.

I also have an issue with wyvern nests not spawning. Not just the eggs hut there are just simply no nests. I’m on Xbox if anybody could help that would be great

Due to hibernation. Check pins here for codes on how to destroy wyvern nests, unfortunately on console you cannot disable this without a server. Things outside of render do not exist and it can mess with spawns

Another problem I'm having, I couldn't find out if this is the issue. I had forgotten to change the host tether distance, and I have set it to 9999. Since I've done that I've tried to start the server 7 times and it finishes loading but then crashes. Is there no way to put the tether distance above 3 anymore? I'm assuming the crash is due to the distance change

Otherwise just sounds like a cloud issue with saving your stuff.
Either that or something to do with your personal storage. Could be a malfunctioning drive, or anything in between.

Alright in steam, Click on ark and then the workshop. Then you can search for what you want. to get the mod hit the green button that says Subscribe. Go into ark and go to the map selection. Click the mod and then the two arrows. If you have a lot of mods it may take a long time to load the game.

There's a set Interval for how long every dino type takes to mature and you can control the length of the interval by increasing the baby mature speed multiplier. If the default is 100 minutes, by setting your multiplier to 10 you get 10 minutes and 100 you get 1 minute.

The imprint multiplier or cuddle interval determines how long the interval between each imprint will take. The default is 8 hours and regardless of whether you're breeding a dodo or a giga, each imprint will occur after 8 hours by default. If the baby will mature in 4 hours, you get 0% imprint. If the baby matures in 8.5 hours, you'll get one cuddle which will give 100% imprint. If the baby matures in just over 24 hours you get 3 cuddles, each giving about 33% imprint. The only way to get less imprint is to skip a cuddle event before a baby grows up. If your multipliers mean that the game can only fit in an X number, the total imprint will be distributed likewise.

When you increase maturation speed multiplier, you need to decrease the cuddle interval so you get at least one cuddle before full maturity.

For fast raising, use a high value like 100 and use a reverse fraction of the same, like 0.01 for cuddle interval.

Clustering is just a term for a set of servers that you can travel to and from and upload download (like official pve is one whole cluster, you cannot travel from pve to pvp or vice versa)
If you're only going to have one server, you don't need to worry about the "cluster" part, so that's my bad for the confusion.

If you're wanting to upload content from your singleplayer to your unofficial, simply allow all downloads and uploads in your unofficial server's gameusersettings.ini

Maybe try closing the app before u go in the snow and then when u log back on run into the Snow really quick so it doesn’t crash again🤷‍♂️

Please help. On PC Epic Games. Can't get the dino levels from official servers on SP The Island. Really want those lvl 150 dinos and level increments of 5. I've edited GameUserSettings etc. and cannot fix

My GameUserSettings.ini file does not have a [ServerSettings] header or any of those settings by default. I tried adding it myself but no work

Make sure the official override line doesn’t already exist in the files. If it does adding a new one will not change anything.

I did find a [ServerSettings] under Ark>ShooterGame>Config>DefaultGameUserSettings but editing those integers changed nothing in game

I also had to add the DifficultyOffset and OverrideOfficialDifficulty lines there and it did nothing

I've never been more confused in my life. I found 2 ARK Game files on me D and E drives. Deleted the E drive verified, didn't fix the files on my D drive (where I originally installed). I uninstalled the game, the files are still on my D drive and now there is more free storage on my C drive. WHAT IS HAPPENING

Best is to use an Ichthy, cause you can use weapons while riding it. You also don't have to worry about it being knocked out with other megalodons nearby. Just for a general taming advise:
The Dino you knocked out still counts as wild, so only creatures that would attack your knocked out tame, are creatures that would also attack it in the wild.

Usually when i tame something like a Rex, i stay away from it, cause nothing attacks a wild rex on it's own.

However be aware that you still pull agro, so other megalodons could hit your knocked out one when trying to bite you
