if you are on a map with explorer maps, you can do a note run with it, giving not only your pteranodon but also your character a lot of levels. might wanna use that for a higher level pteranodon though.
another thing you can do is kill alpha raptors by hitting down from the top of a rock or just kill random small dinos

Anny dev for the love of Jesus can fix rockwell nodes they are gliched and lost all animations and ALSO that after a patch seems some rockwell node walls lost the colision and you can just walk trought it as well exo mek and rexes and tames can just walk in and get stuck lol its a place to be safe as nothing even the spikes dont go there on the mesh but the tames or exo mek that enter can get stuck also you can trap the corrupted survivors there and no more will spawn

That setting just changes rates

So on singleplayer by default majority of the explorer notes are replaced with 4x, where as on a dedicated server such as official they would be 2x.

Non dedicated worlds use the same world you use for SP, hence why the note x is the same

If you hosted a dedicated server, then the notes be 2x

so ideally a small setup you'd have 1 male 20 females and let them mate. take eggs to incu and check for mutations.

if you get a male mutated In melee... or whatever stat replace your male with that one and continue

keep your original male with no mutations as well in the event you get a mutated female

Step 3. Gather a bunch of those same min maxed FEMALE dinos. and 1 male.
Step 4. MASS BREED for mutations on the male side of the spectrum. (No mutations on female side welcome. if a male or female dino is born with a mutation on female side breed IT with the ORIGINAL male i used not the mutated ones that may or may not have replaced it until the mutation moves from the female mutation line to the male mutation line.
Step 5. Breed the one that got the mutation onto the male side now with......... and brain fart.

On single player eggs nests need to be render first by flying through the area. If nests are still not spawning they are glitched so you need to use an admin command to destroy the nests. That should fix the problem

I've been looking around for an answer to my current issue, but haven't had much luck.
Here is my issue:
I have character BOB on an unofficial server. Everything is going well there. However, he is ugly as sin and too tall to fit through doorways. He has a really really big base. Seriously, its overkill for pretty much anything. Took a lot of time to build. He also has a collection of decent dinos.
BOB is part of a tribe on the server that is quite fun to be part of.

I also have a character STEVE- He is short enough to fit through doors and has a good amount of survival quotient (did a lot of story with him on single player maps).

What I would like to do is bring in STEVE to the server BOB currently is, and pretty much take his place. Take ownership of his base and dinos. With my current tribe I think I know how to easily transfer ownership of the dinos, but it is this massive base that I am worried about.

How can I get STEVE to have the ability to control and build on the base originally built by BOB?

Do you download your titans or walk them to king titan terminal so they dont starve when you download, thats what im asking

The titans will full heal when king Titan begin, walking them takes a while but feasable, you can download them too if you please, I've seen both done in official

As a heads up tho, something I personally learnt the hard way is that at least on official the titans do not attack unridden, so if you're solo you'll need Gigas as backup 100 % in case something goes south

Yeah when I did my own fight I did something similar one tanked and the other was the DPS

But if you die to meteors you won't be able to finish the fight if you don't mount back fast cause the king Titan is very strong so Gigas are always a must as a safe backup

there is a 0 byte file causing error it dosent recognize. so it's trying to call a 0 size file it dosent recognize... which is typical for mods, the not being recognized part... not the 0 file size. that is causing the game engine to stall to the extent it shuts down.

nitrado has a discord though with ticket support ran by the community. since this is a server error and they are the host like country said your best bet is to head there

I have been having problems with Ark crashing and it is happening more and more. It happens no matter the map I am playing on, nor the "game" (ie. regular ark with sprinkle mods, overhauls such as PF or Omega, etc.) I have gone to the extent of formatting my computer and reinstalling, verifying, etc. Nothing helps. I cannot post screen shots here but I have one. It is a LowLevelFatalError Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost with a bunch of other text. Any thoughts, help, etc?

I need some help, I have been trying to play servers with mods on Steam Ark however I can not get these mods to download. I have gone as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the game yet I still run into the same problem. After the mods have been subscribed to via the steam workshop, the game will start to install them but it only reaches to around the half way point before it starts to rapidly stop and start the download from the beginning never progressing further with the install, I have tried starting the download from inside ark but it will only get to 46% before it gives up. If there is any solution to this problem I'd appreciate some support.

Okay, so I'm a casual player but stumbled upon a unicorn the other night. It's just me and one other person in our server and we were able to snag him and put him in a cheaply constructed taming pen. I was able to sneak up feed him and then mount him. What happened next I can only describe is that he exploded. I don't know if that's an actual thing, but it's the only way I can describe it. He bucked me off after a few seconds. Half of the structure disappeared with yellow damage points flying everywhere and the unicorn disappeared. It wasn't like he ran out and got somewhere else and we couldn't find him. The taming pen was in our base area which is enclosed as well so we would have noticed him running at the perimeter or something.

Is this a thing? Did we do something wrong? Am I going crazy? If we both didn't see what happened and that he disappeared, I wouldn't have believed it
