You don't have to force tame a wyvern, you can find a high level or the one you found before, and use "cheat getegg 0" to get an egg from the wyvern.

depends, do you want the most efficient creatures for each boss or a general army? If a general army rexes are the best bet, if the former then you want megatheriums for the broodmother, rexes for megapithecus, and theris for dragon. For tek cave/overseer you can use rexes or theris but rexes are generally preferred by most

Alright so to increase the limit it’s the platform structure multiplier. The following is instructions to increase distance from platform.

So, you can edit your ".ini" launch file with some extra commands to allow big boats.
These instruction sets will help you find the file on your PC:

This happened to one of my osprey skiffs too. Happened when the server did a reset while the skiff was floating without a player over water. It broke more and I couldnt even move it sideways.
I never found a fix and eventually scrapped it

Must be under the ServerSettings header (assuming that these are all GUS settings, can’t recall off the top of my head). Make sure the game is closed BEFORE editing and that the options don’t already exist in the file (edit the existing ones if they do)

Okay so we are at our whits end here, we play on pve official. My husband keeps getting disconnected during a server save during two specific instances. 1. Using a managamr on Extinction. He can fly around on any other dino and stay connected. Mana, nope disconnect 99% of the time. 2. Doing the Star Dolphin mission on Gen2. We have nearly identical computers, only exception is our video boards. I do not get disconnected while using a mana in extinction. I rarely get disconnected during Star Dolphin, once out of 4 test runs. He can log into my pc and run star dolphin fine. His pc specs: Ryzen 5 5600x, 32Gb memory, Invidia 3080 FE, ark is installed on an ssd. We have tried uninstalling ark and doing a fresh install, verified integrity after the new install. Window system file check, check disk on all drives, our network reset, restarted our router, netshell tcip reset, disabled nagle and no delay. He is about to reinstall windows but not certain how that is going to help. I have found some posts on the internet of people having similar problems, but have yet to find a solution in any of the responses. Anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem?

Star Dolphin in single player worked just fine. He is not opposed to trying anything at this point. That being said he is network/voip admin. He ran a pcap while doing star dolphin last night just to see what it would show. As he disconnects, he sees very minimal responses from the server. One every 5 seconds for 30 seconds prior to his disconnect.

How so? We have been playing ark together for years on the same network setup, including doing missions on gen2 when it was first released. The only time it's an issue is during the star dolphin mission recently and while using a mana on ext.

Try replacing your ethernet cable with his and vice versa, do you get the problem instead? Anyways, Official gen2 PVE servers are a mess, very long saves usually and there's the 2 of you on the same IP addresses saying "Hello here I am" and I'm willing to bet, it loses connection to one of your PCs because the server can't handle the process of "thinking" on where to send information once the server is responsible again because you have same IPs, so it sends to one client PC and not the other - connection lost.

On the other hand, try a VPN or something on one of the PCs to get a different IP, preferably one that is located nearby so that you don't get terrible ping added.

We tried replacing his ethernet cable this morning. Also swapped the ports we are connected to on the switch. He tried star dolphin after doing that and sadly the result was the same. He will disconnect from star dolphin when I'm not playing ark or when my computer is not even turned on. Our ips are the same externally, but internally they are different. We have played ark this way since 2015, it only recently became an issue. We truly appreciate all your suggestions. I'm not trying to come across as being difficult, simply explaining the steps we have tried on our end to fix this issue. It's so frustrating that nothing has worked to fix the problem. He is actually in the process of reloading his pc now, not sure how that is going to help but a clean install never hurt any one. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will magically fix it.

I think the issue is they walk right over it if you kite them directly through in a straight line. Instead, go into the trap and when they're almost on you veer right or left to make them rotate a little as they step into the trap @random parrot

Yes, a fresh install of everything (windows included) finally fixed it. He uninstalled and reinstalled ark earlier this week and it didn't fix it the first time. Unsure exactly why doing the same steps fixed it this time, but best not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Thanks again for trying to help us, we appreciated it!

Make sure the windows audio options are set to whatever audio device you’re using. If they are and you’re not getting any sound still use something else like speakers and test that.

In the advanced settings of windows audio settings you can set a specific device for a specific app. If you change this for Ark you’ll have to completely close out of Ark and reopen it.

i saved it at 1000 but im still getting 8% imprinting every like 30 or 45 seconds it allows me to imprint, what settings do i need to change so that I can imprint within a short period of time (before the dinosaur becomes an adult) and that the imprinting gives 100% that will not somehow mess up how long it takes for dinosaurs to mate.

Looks fine here. Though make sure you're comparing to Game.ini configs specifically- Try changing flyer speed levelling in the same method and see how that goes (just note you'll need to test a vanilla dino, not BD speed one) to see if that takes effect

I'm still tempted to point to it being a server host issue given gportal's history with config edits not working, but i haven't used them enough myself to point out what might be wrong

It was on official, as i was about to replace the Replicator with my exo Mek, i noticed that i had after emptying the Replicator from all resources **-**345 out of 600 slots. So something was completely broken. Picking Up with the Exo Mek and immidetly placing it back didn t work, but after i stored the Replycator in the Mek's inventory and replaced it then, it workt again like a normal Replicator.

when you resub to it the mod uninstalls and when you added it again it dawnloads again

and my friend said he uninstalled them

unknown file unknown module seems to infer there is some... file.... it's loading that it doesn't recognize. which would point to either a bad load routine, or a... maybe a blank file or corrupted one.

Not how it works. Steam will remove its copy of the mod, but ark has another that won't get removed.

can someone help me, i am trying to host a server and it all works but i wanted to enable flyer movement leveling. for that you need to type bAllowFlyerSpeedLeveling=true but if i add this to the game.ini it just gets deleted when i boot

ive tried googling but couldnt find anything

eh we had a guy with a similar thing yesterday. I sound like the anti mod guy today but it turned out to be one of his mods that was overwriting the settings in the ini

if you are using a mod that edits dino stats, or leveling, or like... something you can think of that would also effect that go in through that mod and set it there
