some of them you need to learn another engram then it instantly learns that engram for you. Like the S+ tek rep, you have to get the engram for regular tek rep unlocked before you can get the S+ one

This may not be helpful but I've set some creatures on passive flee without knowing and they disappeared forever so that could've been it, a solution would probably be double checking what stance your Dinos are on... Or it's a totally unrelated glitch that I'm not aware of.

The Server or singeplayer needs to activate it trough a setting in the Menu/hoster. If u dont have the control about the Server or u play in ur singeplayer u cant have it

Giving up on RNG and systematically rolling my world by mass extincting everything with DestroyWildDinos; waiting for the world to repopulate with 24k+ creatures, saving, then scanning through save file with ASV to see if anything exceptional has spawned, and if so, where? Then I proceed to prepare shock transqs and kibble and fly there only to 60% of the time watch said exceptional creature getting eaten by boars or something along the line before I can even net it. It's insanity inducing, but less so than having to sink 1k+ hour into a singleplayer run for the same effect.

The amount of 40 stam/melee Trilobites/Coels that spawn in random corners of the world would surprise you 🤣

alpha creatures dont tend to hit hard but they have comically large amounts of health because the amount of hp they get per point is bonkers

they also give alpha boost to all nearby untamed creatures, including other alphas, which will also alpha boost themselves. so watch out.

The yutti I was riding got away with like 240 health after the end of it, and that was with all the knock backs it did to the 3 alpha raptors dodging about 85% of their hits, it was butt clenchy

Anyways, back to some more questions. Is there any other stat I'd want on a Daedon than pure HP (to keep alive) if it's sole purpose is to just use it's healing to keep dinos alive/later to be boss arena healer?

Why? They seem to heal enough that they extend the 18 dps dinos long enough to do more damage than if you'd have had a 19th dps, also lessening the likelyhood that one of your dinos die.

Can anyone explain the space physics mechanics for the space cave biome on Fjordur? I want to have the walking tames land on the ground to heal, but it seems like they have a timer or something that doesn't allow them to land and they just float above the ground after dismounting.. I've logged in the next day and sometimes they are landed, sometimes not.. ok so this morning I'm trying to play arc. and every time I load the game like normal I click "Host/Local" then get my settings and everything correct then I click "Host Non-Dedicated game" or whatever. then sometimes it gets past that and goes to the loading screen with the arc logo in the bottom left. then it just freezes. but most of the time it just freezes right as I click "Host Non-Dedicated Server"

and i can not find a solution ive tried multiple troubleshooting methods that i found online and nothing helps.

including deleteing the saved file or whatever in "Shootergame"

that did work for one launch but after that one launchg i restarted and had the same error

no error code, no crash window, nothing just a frozen game

If someone could help i would apreciate it. i could just redownload the game but that is my last option (Since the game is 170gb)

Probably why.in multiplayer you can also do bosses at drops, in single player those options don't show up either. If you wanna transfer with your character in single player you have to go to one of the 4 boss terminals I think. At least that's how I done my short trip to Fjordur.

If you got the spare hardware, or don't mind to rent a server, you can host ark from a dedicated server and password protect it and just connect to that. You'll have to copy your character, your world and your tribe data, along with at least 2 game setting ini files for things to be 1:1 with how you currently have your game set up in single player.

You can hold a torch to help in a little bit along fur armor. Additionally you could try making Fria Curry as temporary insulation boost. Or as Soilderx14 suggested, having an Otter on your shoulder adds massive insulation bonus, the more point in melee on the Otter the better the insulation effect will be.

yesterday i ran ark with mods and it worked perfectly, today for some reason the primaldata loading thing eventually just goes black and the bar doesnt charge and it freezes, i cant even close it or do anything i have to restart my PC, i tried running it without mods and it worked, i tried deleting the mods folder to reinstall all the mods and it still doesnt work, any help on what should I do to fix the problem?

Maybe you just have to be more patient. When I added mods (especiall S+) I noticed significantly longer loading screens (sometime 5min+) and the game would look as if it's straight up "not responding" in task manager, but if I give it enough time it does load eventually.

One of my S+ Domesticated Bee hives on the roof of my base got demolished when those annoying brontos near my base got chain aggrod into fighting my tames. Would putting the hive inside my base, as in, "surrounded by walls from all sides" protect it from the large arcing bronto tailswipes or does that damage clip through walls so long the hive is within the range?

Yep, both are PEAK maps design wise (though gen2 has some flaws in its variety, it’s BEAUTIFUL and great for base building). Gen1 is a super fun challenge and the maps design is so.. vibrant and clear
There’s more to a map than just dinos.

The setting then got nerfed to 0.17, which is dividing by about ~5.88. 10 multiplied by 0.17 is 1.7%, which is what the current value is at. The setting value is multiplied by a value/percentage depending on the setting (in this case 10%), which is then used to determine how much you get

so the reason the stats are bigger in singleplayer is of course to make up for the fact you cant work as a team there, and this way the devs try to equalise the difficulty of both cases, which works fine in caves for example but in bossfights this is a massive boost because you cant really apply much extra stategy if you do go in multiplayer compared to single, so the stat buffs in sp make the fights much easier then
