so i finally have an argy and ankylo. I read all over that you can basically stack unlimited metal on ankylo and carry it with argy without a weight penalty to the argy, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Did this get patched at some point?

Hey, I'm roughly new to Ark, and hadn't played for a while. I play SP, Fjordur. Trying to find big fish to farm, since I got a nice fishing pole. I can't, for the life of me, find a fish bigger than the rare 1,3x. Am I doing something wrong? I have max difficulty in settings, so can see dinos at lvl 150 (or more if Tek)

Keeping metal in ankylo, will still benefit from the weight reduction - but the Argy then has to carry a much lower weight, than if you put the metal on the argy. So yeah, it's patched a long time ago, so carried-dino-weight is added to dino-who-carries-weight

We still use argies to some extent though - First time we moved a Stryder to a new map, we had to "walk it" to where we wanted it. We brought 10 Argies as bodyguards and just told them to be aggressive - Stryder arrived safely at destination

105 is the default max level. you need to get a chibi, all runes, beat certain bosses (overseer-island, rockwell-ab, CMC-Gen1, rockwell prime-gen2), or get all notes.

collect all 200 runes.

So far in my solo playthrough I've just tamed random stuff and played purposefully around "getting a better base with all the cool tech" but I'm getting to the point where I nearly have all the industrial crafting stations, and near finished building out my greenhouse, and have secured easy access to fab weapons and ammo.

At where I am in the game, what would be worthwhile things to turn my focus on and work toward?

level 1 wild giga doesnt do much to a good saddled and imprinted rex, but it has 80k hp. problem is doing 80k damage in a reasonable amount of time before said giga kills you with bleed

Ah well, if you used the Dino Storage mod I would have recommended enable a certain config that would prevent you from throwing out duplicate dinos, because it would show the coordinates if you recovered the tame with that and tried to throw it out.

You could try one of those Dino Tracker mods, I'm not familiar with any though.

Easily a maewing with radiation brew

As long as you know how to glide around and speed yourself up you can easily dive to a nest, grab the egg, get right back on, and if you are fast enough and they arent too close you can grab them in front of the drakes

Just make sure to have enough brews, I usually get 13 but only need about 6, five in and grab a load, get to the blue transfer terminal in the radiation pit, bait any drakes too close to the transfer terminal away, cryopod the maewing in the last transfer timer seconds and get out

100 Wood normally weighs 50, in the mammoth it’s only 12.5 and in the beaver 25 weight.

Look I spent 4 hours following guides on how to fix it and the only way I was even able to get the world to load up was that

I was able to load the world again this morning with all of the progress I made yesterday after doing that

I just wanted to share what worked for me because there are at least 100 people in the steam Ark discussion who have the same/similar problem and have given up on that save, losing all their progress

If you want to see the error message out of curiosity ill gladly send it. I tried many things, I loaded backups, still crashed on loading. I deleted my entire save data, started a new game and plopped my backup files into the new games folder, still crashed. Uninstalled the DLCs and reinstalled, still crashed. Verified my files on steam at least 5 times after following guides I found online, still crashed. Every crash gave me the exact same error pop-up.

Other stats like food and health (sometimes) have multipliers exactly like melee that that formula does not work for. You can’t just simply use it whenever, you have to actually know how

2. lwM is the setting, not the actual increase. The setting controls the amount of increase. In this example, 1 is equal to +5%
