I think the health is low for creatures that'll probably be used in a straight forward assault.

If yall move a ton then they can avoid some of the electricity I think but the aoe melee will probably hurt.

The only stats that you can boost and see a huge difference would be damage. Otherwise everything else goes up in double digits instead of the triple or quadruple that other dinos can have. So imprints are the only real way to get a Stat boost on a giga and after that all other effort to boost anything outside of damage is borderline useless.

Turn on pve mode if on sp
If you’re on a server, you can’t really do anything about it unless you’re admin (but it’d be pretty rude to change the gamemode without telling anyone on the server)

If you breed the male with a female a couple dozen times and just take the highest mutation count that has the stats, eventually you'll get a negative, and that'll make it easy to get mutations

New to ARK.
Played last night on a friends server he created for our group of friends.
Did some great crafting, leveling, I feel like my character is good!
Then, I ventured out some, decided to swim through the water (The Island map)
And the Piranhas bit the crap outta me and killed me.

10/10 epic game.

Every ascension you do raises the your characters max level by 5 per difficulty. So doing alpha island ascension will give you 15 potential levels, beta will give 10, gamma will give 5.

I can't see how they make sense. you have to be up top to crank them up one level at a time which takes forever, then you release back to the bottom...with no way to get it back up again. it's a slow 2 person system. useless for SP as far as I can tell

The base/metal elevator relies on the normal metal tracks and you can start/stop it from the elevator itself, I'd recommend using it instead.

Wow I just had a series of mini heart attacks. I’m going on a bit of a taming expedition right, on a maewing. For context for people who don’t tame maewings. Maewings are not what you would call fighters, lmao. So I hop onto a mountain, right above an argy. I’m like oh crap, I don’t really wanna do this with a maewing. So I hop off the mountain right down into what seems to be a war between a shitton of argies and raptors, so I’m like yeah no not doing this either, I continue hopping down, right into the lap of a carno, hop down again, there’s a frickin rex.
