Does anybody know how to fix the linked storage box in ASA ?

We placed 2 of them, got them powered, waited the 5 Mins and after game restart we could finally put some items into the box...
But then we hadnt enough time to take all of the items out of it cause we had to go to bed.

Next day it was unpowered again cuz we forget the gasoline for the generator.. so we powered it again.

But now we cant see the items in it anymore and cant use the box..
After relogging I saw the items for a short time but couldnt interact with them.

Pressing F didnt work btw...

How can we fix this? Does anybody have an idea?

Hello yesterday I was globally banned while I was at work….. I submitted a ticket and today they tell me it was due to multiple cheaters in my tribe. I’ve played with the same guys since launch and we have never cheated or exploited…. So I was banned for no reason, and now they are telling me “tough luck”. I would strongly recommend not playing or buying this game (coming from someone who has over 9000 hours) . This is very unprofessional and very confusing. After years of playing, everything gone in 15 mins, due to the devs thinking we were cheating when everyone was at work. Very very frustrating and unprofessional.

yeah Nitrado just released an update for their servers for the most recent ASA update about 4 hours ago. If you can, get ahold of the server owner and see if they can update their servers to the most current one. I believe it will fix it. However Nitrado didn't specify this in their notes, but I can login now, as I was having that same issue last night but now I'm on the most current version

Okay uhm i think there is a way to "overwrite" data by transferring saved files between drives. Look in your system files for your saved data and move that file into the new drive look for something that says something similar to overwrite saved data maybe and see if that works? Its been a long time since I've done something like that tho so I could be wrong

Hey fellow ark buddies... I have a question... But it's a long one and confusing. So hubby and I have a server together, same mods, two different Xbox, but we switch between the consoles. Anyway, we are having an issue with the dodo's being flat and wonky, and the hair of the character being see through/balding. Only thing is, it is only happening to him on both consoles, my character is fine. We do have quite a few mods, but a mod clash is unlikely because it isn't happening to me. I spawned in the zone closest to Herbivore Island, you know... One of the "Easy" zones... I make a smol base to store mats while I get a raft to go to said island... I made the raft and even got a nice Ptera and some funny 120+ dodos.

It kinda depends on how you want to play the game , BUT , you'll need the basics. pick, hatchet, spear , forge , smithy , fabricator , storage , mortor n pestle, armour, bow n arrows , tranqs . Those are basic must haves , and of course building engrams . IMO thatch is a waste of time , I usually try to build my first building out of stone ( more durable )

that is scraping the low end of the system requirements. it will run it, but anything over low-mid settings will be horrible. not really any way to 'optimize' out of insufficient memory and compute power

overheating = broken. ps5 has some notorious issues with the thermal interface between the processor and heatsink migrating, so to speak. on top of any usual issues with faulty fans or clogged heatsinks

blue screen on ps5 just means the game crashed, not the same thing as a bluescreen on windows, which is some variety of severe stability issue

Got it. It seemed related, but maybe it’s not. I always felt like my PS5 was getting too hot playing ark, but I could be mistaken. It doesn’t seem to do that on other games. The only other time it did that is when I would get that occasional loading screen on call of duty or somewhere where it’s running full throttle, and you can hear the fans kicking on, but ark imo seemed to run hot daily.

I understand the blue screen is something different so thanks for clearing that up.

there is not any way to really measure the heat on an unmodified ps5, fan noise is not an indicator of anything

outside or heatsink temperature is meaningless as well

@proven grove Can you change the boss summon in lost colony, some tribes leave the dinos near the terminal we want to do the boss but the tribe never move his dinos, LC is abandoned map for your worst decisions, just enable to to the boss in the transmitter like the other maps

I don't know anywhere else to post this where it can get seen by wild card I know we voted on animals to get tlcs but one animal that didn't even get noticed and wouldn't have because it's not rideable and should be is the purlovia. In the show it's rideable on Lost colony the NPCs can ride it and it's proper size to be rideable maybe not a full TLC but could the developers possibly look at making the purlovia rideable with just a simple patch or something I've never seen anybody say anything so I wanted to say something hopefully somebody can see this or pass it on

It's not a bad animal and it gets no love from the community because without it being rideable or shoulder pet especially in PVE it has no real use but it's actually a pretty nice animal if it could just be rideable

We have 2 PCs in the house.

1 is using 64gb ram, ryzen 9 7950x, with a 4060ti.

The other is using the same ram, same GPU, but has a 5070 instead of a 4060ti.

The one using hte 4060 is getting 100+ FPS, no issues playing a all, no frame stutter, no frame drop, everything is great.

The one with the 5070 though literally cannot play. We logged in and it's slide show city. Talking maybe 1-2 FPS, everything is ulra pixelated, moving makes it look like the computer is about to die. It's almost as if there is no GPU, no idea how tot explain it.

On that same side, the PC with the 5070 is running modded Cyberpunk with a bunch of graphic mods on Ultra at 100+ FPS, WoW, Rust, Myth of Empires, and Soulmask at higher FPS than my 4060ti. There is no issues with any other games except for Ark Survival Ascended.

I have their graphics preset to "low" and the quality set to "quality" at the moment, though mine is set to performance, and high/medium for most things.

What settings am I needing to change to make the other machine not a slide show? (drivers are updated on both machines)

It looks like they are only having performance issues on our server, when they go into single player their FPS is fine.

No one else is experencing any performance issues on the server and we have 4 other people playing. The one having issues sits behind me, and the server is hosted in another state.

Seems like it's OUR server specifically, connected to a few other servers no issues. Our server though she connects and everything looks like it takes a big ole dump. It's super pixelated, 1-2 FPS.

@heavy cedar the fix for Center penguin overspawn didn't work. I was just rendering and flew past the spawn spot. The game turned into a slide show then crashed. Took me 4 attempts to log back in and get out of render of them.
