Not really since they are small but have rex tier stats while being herbivores.

Should have a high chance of success then. Tactic I gave you was one I used with theriz that had 20k health, 600% melee and 90-120 armor saddles.

I lost a few chickens but it got me through it.

Yeah should be fine just don't underestimate the DoT from the flame breath or the fire ball and dimorphodons hitting the rider. Bring spare armor and med brews.

Sorry forgot to comment on this but Yuty always helps in boss fights. 2 issues it has in dragon fight is you can't heal it with cakes and it will have agro priority over the tickle chickens. It's still worth taking but you'll take more hits from fire balls and dimorphodons and normally there's a high risk it will die before the fights over so you have to be prepared to switch mount mid fight. Considering the melee on your chickens I think you've got a good chance of killing the dragon before that's a concern though if you take a Yuty.

Aye just the DoT ignores armor. The normal damage from the dragon isn't a real concern its the DoT that kills your tames and the fire breaths got a much longer range than the animation. 2 concerns with the fight are always the fire breath DoT and the fire balls and dimorphodon minions hitting riders.

Unless those rexes are extremely high id go with Theris.. Cakes are op 🙏

And the flame deals % dmg so unless you are on top with Extinguishers your Rexes still get cooked equally fast

but Extinguisher + Cake Theri lets you drag out fight for a long time

I did with Yuty + Deinosuchus with about 1400% melee and 25k hp but it was fairly sketchy

And took multiple attempts reloading before I got the patterns down

I'd say theriz are better damage but it's primarily since big groups of bison seem to struggle with getting into attack range. This can be worked around by splitting them into whistle groups and using them to make sure they surround the target though.

The map will be a reimagined genesis part 1. Which is interesting because the wording suggests significant changes to the map. Wonder if they’ll abandon missions.

I have a dev question about anchoring into the "mesh". Specifically the ragnarok castle at 20 40 (-126396 -378407 25716 71.78 -42.64). I cannot set pillars unless they are full sized in the top two floors. No issue anywhere else. But top two floors the half / quarter pillars will not anchor. Is there a way to fix this? Foundations kind of work but they ruin the look because of the height through the ceilings to the rooms below.

It'll take foundations though. No issue. So its buildable. But the quarter pillars wont snap under each other, only above. Like its buffered almost. I had one other instances of this but only where there is the piles of rocks or right against some walls.

I guess you could say proximity is king. If I have a ceiling or foundation near enough a wall I cannot snap to the wall edge. But I could anchor a pillar into the wall or floor and then do wall overlay.

unreal = TSR, engine's built-in upscaler. it is fairly sharp, but not particularly great performance boost. FSR(3) will be blurrier and faster. DLSS (if you have a nvidia GPU) will usually be best, but it has a ton of different versions

if you can use or hack in FSR4, it is comparable with DLSS

Ammo blueprints are mainly useful for mass production. For example if you put 2 blueprints for Adv Rifle Bullets in the Tek Replicator you'll be able to set up to 3000 crafting at once instead of 1000. You can also use them to set stuff like stone arrows crafting there with a blueprint when normally you can't since it doesn't have the engram available.

Put a box on a cart and then have that cart feed a tek trough. Place the venom in the box and this will transfer it to the trough for max time on decay. If you’re just storing, then place venom in an ice Wyvern - as suggested by the OP.

Nope. Unfortunately you are wrong there. In ASE you can get all creatures without any dlc, you just have to trade for them. Most however are available on other maps such as the free DLC. Asa on the other hand won’t let you interact with any creatures unless you cough up 5-30 dollars. Plus with the bobs tails including items that are essential to modern pvp it’s hard to say it’s not pay 2 win. Evolved had these problems but the scale was much smaller. ASA is a cash grab and anyone who says otherwise is coping sorry to say.

I need advice on how to handle a situation where a player keeps throwing tames into our base. We’ve submitted multiple tickets but nothing has been resolved so far. We cannot see the player’s name or tribe, the spyglass shows no information, and their parasaurs are constantly left on alarm mode.

The issue started when the player lost their base due to autodecay, and we claimed the spot afterwards. Now, after about three months, they want the location back, which doesn’t make sense. Based on behavior and communication, it seems to be a Chinese player, but we cannot confirm it.

I'd like to say Rhynio but you can't breed them for stats and mutations properly but you can with the Aureliax. Not to mention you have to clone the Rhynio then revert to baby with the megalab to get spares or replace your good ones. These issues make the Aureliax way better.

I've done Grendel before and I'd say the main threat is the bleed damage so I'd recommend having a army focused on therizinos with veggie cakes. Then it's just a matter of getting the braziers lit quickly to make it vulnerable when it hides. I honestly found it a pretty fun fight.

I wouldn't say Grendel is a tough boss but I wouldn't say it's a easy one like the Megapithecus either.

I've done Broodmother and Megapithecus on Alpha before with Rex that had 30k HP, 600% melee and 70+ armor saddles. I had some near death on Megapithecus and lost several on the Broodmother. With the Dragon I've beaten it with therizinos 20k HP, 600% melee, 90+ armor saddles and 20 veggie cakes each. Again I lost several on my first attempt but beat it without casualties on my second when I had another player helping to control the tames. I had a Yuty with all 3 fights, I will say the dragon is mainly about positioning with the tames to split which ones get burnt so they have time to heal with the cakes.

Yeah but you'll still get some with bad rolls on the stats and it's a ton of boring work messing with all the cares etc. With Aureliax all you need to do is leave them mating in range of an oviraptor. Babies will get the stats you want once the parents are bred in and you can do normal mutation breeding with them.

Had it a fair few times with the Rhynio where I have top tier stats on the host and the good stats inherited are the food and oxygen.

Beavers have better efficiency for wood gathering than mammoths but they have lower weight reduction on it combined with worse weight gains. They are more a early game wood gatherer. I'd recommend getting a Mammoth instead or therizino with a mammoth on follow if you want high efficiency.

If your on unofficial I'd recommend trying to replace corrupted wyverns. You might be able to stop the random encounters that way but you'll probably still encounter them when doing drops etc.

Its not my server but I will bring it up to the admins. Your also not missing anything by skipping extinction. Its a horrible map to move and dinos around OSDs aggro on other wild creatures so you have to play hind and seek with corrupted pteradonds that chance crap across the map. Not an enjoyable map at all

Yeah it does have some good features but the corrupted dinos can be pretty obnoxious at time unfortunately.

I do enjoy running the OSDs when they don't break though. Luckily the Better Horde mod helps a lot with getting them to behave.

thats just how steam works. steam has to patch ark which is pretty much 1 big file so it can take a while.

a faster drive will help. make sure its using an SSD to patch and not an HDD.

Depends on the server owner tbh.

Been like that for 10+ years now. If the servers well managed you'll pretty much never lose progress. The extremely rare occasions you do it can be sorted with a roll back. Think I've only had to do a roll back 5 times in the last 10 years. 2 of the times where because of griefers that where using exploits.
