Actually you should try doing it in single player, go into admin mode, give yourself the BP at around 65 quality and try from there. Should tell you if it's the server or a limit that's in place via wild card

depends on how you play. if you are more PvE oriented, its really nice to have the Gene Scanner, Carts and other QoL additions plus cosmetics, treasure maps and the such. if you’re more PvP it’s useful for Tesla Coils and small transmitter boxes but not a whole lot else

@heavy cedar This is an increasingly common issue, there may be a need to investigate this further. I've seen this on several of our servers and others in other Discord servers (including here, GameServerApp, and others) have seen this too. Seems that something is corrupting the SQL database that is the ARK server's main save file (e.g. LostColony_WP.ark) and once it's corrupted, it can't be fixed and instead has to be rolled back to a previous backup.

ERROR!!! FAtlasSaveManager::LoadOperationSql: SQL database is corrupt and the save game is compromised! Exiting...

There was a patch recently (v78.49 - Minor version for Servers - 02/02/2026) that may have fixed some of these issues, but something introduced around January 28th is causing server files to be corrupted when they weren't being corrupted before.

I've submitted a bug report for this, in case anyone else sees the same issue. Please comment with your information to consolidate this there.

You can get a very safe estimate
Look how long it takes in seconds for food to go down by like 1 digit (3345 to 3344 for example)
If it takes 2 seconds, you got exactly 6688 seconds left until it starts starving, or 111 minutes.
And food consumption will slowly decrease, so if you calculate based on current consumption, you can be sure to have a „safety“ net as it will consume less food like an hour ahead.
That’s what I did for years, super easy and quick with safety

Yes, I have admin rights. I've reset Dino several times – without success. But I've just seen that there are two bug reports about this. So other servers are also affected – everywhere capped at level 100.

It's a DLC issue, they ended up flagging it for Bob's Tall Tales instead of Exotic Tames Drakelings so it doesn't affect those who have BTT in addition to ET:Drakelings for $45 instead of just having ET:Drakelings for $15.

Tek Spear is 100% present in Dragon Hoards as both rarity finished products AND blueprints. As far as I know there's no other natural way to get it above primitive, as no other loot tables contain them yet. And I just got ASA this christmas, and then got Lost Colony since it was the newest map bundle but didn't see any reason to get Bob's since it's mostly cosmetic items that have no bearing on gameplay, until this feature creep of Dragon Hoards was associated with it INSTEAD of Lost Colony only

So I definitely reccomend getting it. One of the biggest uses i like is the makeshift megalab which let's u add traits to armor and weapons and also respec your creatures. Theres also structures that are useful if you're a builder and pieces of the new lore is adapted from bobs tales. Theres probably stuff im forgetting as well.

"Fix" is to roll back your server to a previous .ark file which of course means a rollback but unfortunately there's no known fix for the corrupted SQLite database. You might be able to do some manual sqlite3 commands to dump the corrupted bits but honestly a rollback is just faster and more prone to working.

@remote leaf i've tried doing pillars up to the height i need, place a ceiling on top and then place a train track on top of that, then use a connector track piece to connect the two. That doesn't work anymore either. Pillars will not connect to the track at all except for on top of the track but you cannot put any horizontal beam pillars on top of the track either. Making train tracks useless/unuseable.
