protip: Take the dragon hoard chests to a different map. Valguero and the island are safest, if you haven't spawned a chest location, they'll work on other maps

there are different size for the outer city attack outposts aswell. the difference is very noticable. large outpost sent resource cache amount of reinforcements.... still 10 sigil and red element cause they hate us.

Thats probably a bug. You can report bugs in the discord category for doing that #bug-reports but it wants you to answer some questions and give server codes to it and stuff like that

I am not really crashing that much but im playing on singleplayer. I am playing on extinction, ragnarok and scorched earth currently and the biggest bug so far was when i was on extinction and was fighting the forest titan and for no reason some of my deinotheriums didnt attack the titan even when i whistled and I even checked if they listen to group whistles and it was on. And i have also had more than 7 corrupted structures which is kinda insane

this could be an ARK limitation because usually, ya can only bring 20 tames with ya so if it exceeds a certain number, especially when it comes to to larger creatures like the Deinotherium, the game bugs out

If you have no hostility stacks and are just riding around on a doed hitting lamposts then the thralls won't aggro on you. If you pull out any kind of weapon, hit a gargoyle or a thrall or come across an UNRIDDEN lost tame, then they will aggro.

Dinos can't eat cactus broth, but it wouldn't make any difference f you could. The thralls are chill unless you do one of the above things, also got to avoid rolling close to missions obviously.

Hitting a lampost with almost any dino will actually harvest some dust, scrap and crystal. But doed is far and away the best at it.

I am actually going to mutate my deinotheriums for the king titan fight. And i will probably have more than 50 deinotheriums in multiple waves and im probably gonna possibly have a few dreads and at least 1 of the 3 titan guardians in the fight. But im super far from that

I am also playing on different settings so my deinotheriums are beasts even without mutations (i have 2x the level rates)

I love the deinotheriums too, but king titan can punch for several thousand damage a hit, they may not even get a chance to eat cakes to heal up. But if you had a mixed army around his arena they'd probably be good for helping with the adds, plus free buffs are always good. But the king is heavy weight fight.

On my server each deinotherium has 70K health and 1200% melee so i dont even wanna know what happens when i mutate

Whenever the Dreadnoughtus is near a Big creature it constantly gains the Titan Slayer buff, increasing its Damage dealt and damage resistance. The increase depends on the Drag Weight of the big creature from 5% up to 50% at 1000 Drag Weight or more. The Dreadnoughtus needs to be the only of its species around 100 meters for this buff to activate.

I was running a beta king titan one time and my dreads at the time had about 300k hp with good saddles and he killed 12 with his big charge up punch. I couldn't interrupt it because he had clipped on a platform saddle and I couldn't hit him. Still had more out though plus my mek so finished him with that.

Lol, that's where my statement came from. Spent 20 minutes in the rock drake zone, went to exit and needed 10 minutes with the climbing hook, then needed to spent 15 minutes walking to a battery charger where I could teleport out to another map on my cluster.

It's legitimately a bad map in my opinion. It's not fun to navigate, it's annoying to explore, and I've had to disable several structure prevention mechanisms so I could use teleporters down in the Graves of the Lost. I'm sorry, but I have better shit to do with my life than walk around in a video game from point a to point b for nearly an hour. It's not fun.

Yeah Ark in general doesn't respect player time and Ab is not for everyone lol. ASA Ab is also a downgrade imo (all the other ASA maps are better than their ASE but not Aberration)

It's not a map I'd go back to and play on for fun, for sure. It has unique stuff to get from it, and then I move on and don't come back, on ASA at least

That's exactly how I feel about it. Only the dinos are memorable, but the map doesn't feel all that intuitive. I'd somehow put Scorched Earth above it.

I was hoping to knock out a Rock Drake and tame it, but they want me to "glide" down there, and then walk all the way out with the egg. Can't even hatch the egg there or anything, at least I could build directly outside the scar

Yeah it's like scorched wyverns, have to raise it from an egg. If you are on ASA you can use the yi ling to get down there, otherwise yeah it's a hassle but the challenge is meant to be part of the fun of the map

I can't really consider aberration challenging, just honestly tedious. Started by taming megalosaurus and got a breeding pair to imprint on. Just one can kill several lvl 150 rock drakes in a group without a problem. It's the amount of walking spent that we hate. The dinos aren't the issue for us, it's the entire map layout and navigation time

Not really. I had to explore the majority of the island and scorched earth on a Thylacoleo to get the explorer notes. Wyverns were too big for that and the notes are glitched for us, so you have to be mounted to open them

again, you're too used to other maps and how easy it is there

if ya cheat your thyla into Aberration, ya won't be complaining about the navigation, only it is boring because ya have a creature that ignores the map

I'm content with non-flyer maps, but traversal can't be annoying or take a long time. Valheim was great about allowing players to build teleporters. Once a player spent the time to reach their chosen destination, they could head directly back to base, no questions asked. It just felt good to play, same with Palworld with it's many fast-travel zones

God this game blows. Been getting the stupid exception access violation for a month now. The most vague issue you can get. All I've noticed is my CPU jumps to 100% usage when I launch the game. Comes down after a couple minutes. Try to load up a single player world. Jumps to 100% again then I am hit with a crash and error. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it please help. I am literally losing my mind over this lol

No word on either - All I heard in the General channel was that the last patch broke the cosmetics. If you can remove the structure and replace it, you can place the cosmetic, but if it was in place, and you remove the cosmetic, it's like the game doesn't see it anymore. I was able to skin structures that weren't skinned before hand, but if I try to re-skin something, it breaks. Furniture doesn't work at all.

Are reapers currently obtainable in Aberration? I swear to god I've sat here with a shield up for 30 seconds and the reapers just spin in place while they're purple and pink. I'm dismounted and everything, but this stupid bloody animation doesn't trigger

deploying creatures inside the cave is not allowed however, there seems to a certain place in the cave that ya can

assuming ya are playing on PVE that is

on PVP, ya will need to align a Cryofridge on top of the cave from outside but as far as I know, ya cannot build inside and around the Tek Cave in official

I could be wrong but as far as I'm aware, a Gacha only consumes 1 pellet for better loot

I figured it out. Just need to wait about 5 minutes and it'll eventually play the animation, have fun going through 8 shields, though :/

Gacha can pick up anything in front of it

ya can poop and they'll pick it up

the snow owl thing is just once per Gacha

after that, ya need to feed it something

Plant Species Y traps are by far the best

Stone is second best

raw meat also works but not as effective as stone

ya also can't have 2 Gacha of the same sex within 7 foundations I wanna say

it your Gacha is frowning, it means that it's sad and won't produce crystals

Neo ARK Ascended: The Reaper

It replaces vanilla Reapers with modded ones and if ya don't end up liking the mod, ya can convert all the modded including Queen back to vanilla King and it will not affect current tamed Reapers, ya have to manually convert those if ya want

the reason why I'm using this mod is because instead of wasting my time with a high level Queen just to get 1 baby only for her to despawn afterwards, there's a 25% chance that I can get my own Queen

or initiate Alpha Reaper Queen boss fight

because she rewards ya with a Reaper Queen that comes with at least 10 mutations

very dangerous fight but worth it if ya just wanna skip the birthing process and get your own Reaper Queen

We'll see how it goes, I'm almost done with my mutations on the Megalosaurus for Rockwell. We've only been on this map for 4 days now and we're all nearly over it. The gimmick doesn't last for us, and we don't even see a reason to explore the surface

then definitely install that mod and get your own Reaper Queen

she'll generate a Reaper once per day without needing to impregnate the player

maybe give the Alpha Reaper Queen a go to, test your Megalos

yep, ya can just refill your stats and gain some xp while at it

removes diseases too, not sure about permanent ones though
