Ive been trying to tame gigantoraptors and no matter what I do the babies wont start the taming method. Im doing everything right, wearing full ghillie, not building structures, waiting till the parent is distracted with egg. No matter what i do, the baby just walks up to me and walks away in the nest. Make sure your companion isn't at 100% it'll won't let you get the vulpite if it is. I had to breed mine to get a baby. raise it and then got a vulpite using it after it raised. I hope this helps

ASA's improved ASE, by quite a lot honestly. but yeah you need a good rig. It is not well-optimized any more than ASE was, so if you aren't over-the-top for your PC specs if you're PC, it may not run as expected

UE5 is not good at handling 100 different light sources, beams, reflections, 50npc's and whatever else may be on screen

Maps like lost colony and aberration will always have performance issues due to the sheer amount if lighting and shadows going on

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I’m still newbish and trying to get around The Island. Does anyone know of a “trail map” of some sort? It’s frustrating trying to get from one spot to another when it looks like on the map that I should be able to just go north, but I actually have to go east and around a cliff. I have to backtrack constantly. I assume I haven’t found one because most people just use flyers but I enjoy exploring. Just hate losing dinos because they get stuck to weird invisible rocks.

Having an issue that milestone progress isn't always saved when leaving dedicated servers.

Especially if finishing a milestone then within 5-10 minutes leaving, it's almost never saved.

Anyone else having similar issues and have found a reliable way to not have to repeat every annoying milestone 3-4 times?

Did they recently tweak the imprinting % shown in game? it used to be even if you made a dino have 200% imprint it would just show as 100% in the inventory. now it will actually show 200% or whatever it is

Pro on a dedicated server is the way to go for console

don't even bother with Single Player, unless ya are fine playing with no mods

these 2 maps are not so massive that not even the PS5 Pro can handle them, not even on a dedicated server

ya don't even need to build near one, just leave a tamed creature within 600 meters and bam, that outpost will never spawn
