We have any fixes for unreal engine crashes? I'm crashing on my dedicated server and single player, like alot and in a minute to 5 minutes. Updated drivers, did a gpu stress test, no crash and ran great. Reset any overclock and underclock. Updated c++. Validated files through steam. Uninstalled and reinstalled ASA. LC map on PC .

I got tired of the lag and disconnects and switched to single player with some mods and not stupid high rates. It’s nice to play the game without all the lag and pillars everywhere. Only problem I’ve found is the game pushing me to the psn main screen when I go to where the beavers are supposedly.

yes, no matter what we do to the settings they still breed we can’t get them to stop and yes, there’s even traits to increase fishing stuff. You just have to complete the missions to get points to put into it. One of our tribe mates has already unlocked tek mek blueprints. On lost colony having a Mek on there is so OP. Makes doing drops really easy.

When something stupid happens that deletes all of my progress in a way that doesn't make the game any more interesting to play, I roll the server back, or just spawn that specific stuff back in. I obviously let creatures die, just not gonna let a creature die if it get stuck between creatures it should be able to escape from. To do that, I usually just cheat ghost out of the dogpile and cheat walk not too far from where I was to pretend like I got out of there like I should've

lost all levels, everything in in inventory deleted and capped saddle

the only benefit of babyfying was that for some reason, when used on a wild creature, it'll be imprinted at that percentage

so 95% = 95% Imprint

and every 5% increment increases the amount of shards needed

which doesn't make sense because ya can just babyfy it to 95% then imprint it once and ya are done

least amount of shards used

Ascended is worth getting, but it's still early access. Plenty of bugs to go around that get patched, so don't worry too much. Just expect normal Early Access issues

There are mods integrated with curseforge which can greatly improve the experience. We're using a handful ourselves, namely: Automated Ark, Easy Mutations, Shiny!, and Arkitect Structure Remastered

Our group loves it!! I found the Radiation modifier overly powered when paired with Easy Mutations, but thankfully the mod comes with a config to disable specific types. It's HIGHLY configurable, easily recommend

I used to run everything on my gaming pc (Client + Server), but RAM capacity did become an issue. So I grabbed a Dell PowerEdge with 256 gigs of ram and threw Ark Ascended servers on it. Easily solved the RAM issue, but CPU and RAM power never mattered, just the capacity.

With that said, everyone can run Ark in single player without any issues too (hardware from 2016, some more modern.

We used to CRASH on transferring without using the store, and it corrupted player files entirely. After converting, the problem went away and transfers became quicker. Best thing ever in our group

Two of my servers were created 3-4 months after the title launched on Steam, so I also needed to use the -ForceRecreateSaveGameDatabaseOnFirstSave command line argument at startup for them.

It's been a very wild ride, but we still have everything from several years ago, without any data loss.

Yep, we've been encountering that issue FREQUENTLY when a new map gets created on the cluster. It's been very painful to deal with, but we manage and tough it out.

For example, I went wayyyy overboard (but that’s because I just can right now) by using three ossidons and 6 reapers. I actually failed my first one with just the reapers, losing one in the process, but that’s because of thyla and Caron bleed.

Honestly, with these missions you can bring whatever you want and have fun with it, but you just need to have some ossidon-level creatures to help you out.
