Nope. With a baby present a female bison will have its milk timer go down, starting at 1h. If baby is removed/grows up the timer does not reset, but rather continues on when new baby is present

I put a hoard of veilwyn out and they all agroed onto them and I just ran in circles shooting them and poking them on foot it wasn’t bad but all the neos were level 1 for me idk if that was intended or not cause later I did a resource cache and they were way higher leveled and a gamma almost wiped every creature I had that could fight

Hello CurseForge Team,

I would like to address a concern that has been bothering me – and likely many server owners in the ARK: Survival Ascended community – for some time.

Regardless of known issues in the past, the current situation regarding the offered mods is increasingly frustrating. In particular, many mods are provided that are clearly outdated, especially those from before the Unreal Engine 5.5 update. For server operators and players, it is often not immediately clear whether a mod is still compatible or actively maintained.

In practice, this means we regularly have to read through comments and additionally check their age to determine whether a mod is still usable. This extra effort is, in my view, far from ideal and significantly complicates server management.

I cannot judge what internal processes or technical constraints exist at CurseForge or Overwolf. Nevertheless, the current state of the mod overview – especially regarding currency, quality assurance, and transparency – appears to be in need of improvement.

I would appreciate it if outdated or no longer compatible mods, as well as nonsensical or low-quality “cheap” mods, were clearly marked or more strictly filtered. This would provide both players and server owners with a more reliable selection and would, in my opinion, significantly improve the quality and usability of the platform.

Yeah, there are bugs. All my solwyns go back to 0 xp, whilst malwyns all go to max xp lvl with 88 points

Though for the malwyns the existing point distribution I did during the adventure stays, so only the "remaining" level ups are left to spam into melee

As of lately, me and a friend have been playing ark asa and have been having issues where player structures consistently derender for an extended period. Resetting the server often fixes the problem but only temporarily before the issue returns. We only use the super spyglass, recovery stone, and return the beacon mods. We also play on ragnarok, and there's only 2 small bases left behind and pretty much a mega base and a bee house in the area. There is also a structure far away dedicated to tree sap, is there any long term fix for this? (And there is a crop farm)

And for what I can see, the "Mega base" would not even be nearly as big as actual megatribe bases

Hey yall, a little poll to throw out to yall. I’m about to start a split-screen playthrough on Asa on my Xbox with my fiancee, problem is, I’m at a loss on what map to choose to do the playthrough on. Whatever map I choose we’ll fully beat it on the gamma difficulty. We’ll be using the human NPC’s mod to spice things up and make it feel more lively.

I’m going to choose one of these maps:
The Island for the classic feel, has no mystical creatures, but a classic that can’t go wrong.

Extinction due to the action elements of it, as the progression of extinction (minus king Titan prep) is much less tedious than the other maps, because OSDs and Titan battles are lots of fun.

Astraos, as a mix of both worlds. I have the map, but never actually beat it. I know it’s unfinished but the map seems fun. With a good mix of Classic Ark grind and OSD/world boss action to spice things up.

Asking the experts here, what would yall recommend? This will be her first experience with Ark and I want to make sure it’s a good one.

crates arent that great and drakelings can give you a long list of items from all maps, making them annoying at times getting aquatic saddles and whatnot, you also have to grind the exp for the drakeling which can take time. Im at a point now where I need rex saddles (bp) and atleast 1 ossidon saddle, and they only spawn in red crates

from the loot tables I saw ossidon saddle isnt even in drakeling keys

but if you want a ton a dire bear and spider saddles, then sure crates are great :p

it looks like if I want to kill the bronto I just need good dinos with good saddles..problem is speed. I have a bison with a 147 saddle..took like no damage from the bronto. But it couldn't kill the cankles fast enough. My bary didn't make it and the bear barely made it. The barry survived the firstr bronto but only had like 600hp left when they sent the second. Also 4 gamma in a row where I've gotten a bronto.

There are attack outposts in the city and out in the snow. Defence outposts are only out in the snow, and same with resource caches

For SE you can just spam Lightning Wyverns for an easy win

i never knew wyverns were able to go in that fight, i snagged 2 170 breeding pair lightnings and theyre op as they are i js gotta breed them then

just set then on attack the boss and make sure special ai breath is on

When using them for boss fight make sure to set them all to "enable special AI attack" so they actually use their breath attack

Yeah, mixing wyvern types with breath attacks on is a surefire way to have all your wyverns kill eachother (friendly fire go brr)

They just don't move even when aggroes, just like other turret modes

If you have their special ai attack enabled they will use breath attacks from their position if they can hit

For boss fight the turret mode is bad, as they won't actually chase the boss and will barely be able to attack it. They will also get hit by deathworms and golems, and so most likely all die
