I have zero issues with the update and I did a fresh install, files might’ve gotten corrupted when updating. What you got to lose? Wait here crying and waiting for wildcard to figure something out or reinstall and see what happens.

For me unplayable on pc with 4060rtx, get flickering and super lag, i go from 120fps down to 20 and I barly can move. That issue i had 1-2 Times each day before and it was just to hit F11 to windowed and back again and it solved everything, now of i hit F11 tames and walls dissapear

Ok everyone I have a fix for mods for PlayStation 5 and possibly Xbox.

Step 1 uninstall all mods close game
Step 2 go back on the game and download 1 mod you know should be compatible with the 5.5 update like admin panel.
Step 3 load a game save if it lets you load your save everything with that mod is fine and move on to the next mod.
Step 4 ignore the invalid on the mod on the mod store that's a visual bug

Installed mods do not work, it says they are broken, and astraeos is completely wiped without me being able to access the backup, and the mods are always invalid.

There ARE issues with getting the DLC maps installed again (it's super janky) and you do have to update all of your mods again, and then restart the game afterwards, but once you do all of that the game runs fantastic. Higher FPS, lower latency, mods that were broken before (upgrade bench, marni's hair styles) are working again, and a lot of common crashes just don't seem to exist anymore.

Short answer: no it has not. There's tons of issues with the update, and it broken way more than I think Wildcard even realized it would. Stability at lower settings is better, I don't crash while 'cheat fly' across maps anymore, but it doesn't look improved or anything, and the frames are slightly slower overall or it feels that way anyways.

Hello, following the update we have a small problem for all players on the nvdia Gforce now platform since now we have to download the maps to access them and we cannot on gforce so it means that since the update we only have access to the island can we see if it is not possible to launch the download of the maps which are free simultaneously when launching the game, it is quite problematic to only have access to a small percentage of the game with 1 single card

clear your download cache in steam, then reboot steam. it should download an update and it will work.

hi guys im playing on forglar 3060ti i9900k 32gb ram i cant do a thing as im on performance ultra with low graphics and get 10 fps any one else with this issue or just me

a majority of people are having the issue right now and shockingly it doesnt seem linked to gpu.. just the game being an idiot. i have a 3060 as well and game runs okay for me but i seem to be a minority

Just sucked because I was in first person at first and did not realise it until I could not move out of the structure I was in

Ok, I've cooled off. The game stopped crashing after 10 seconds upon loading in (has been doing for the past 2 months). There's still an ongoing issue, that looks like it's been going on for several years. I've seen posts dating back to 2023. This discord won't let you post links to like forums and stuff. I'm not sure Wildcard or whatever the dev's company's called is aware. I'm not sure how to file a ticket or something if they are not aware, but this makes single player unplayable.

Single player does - not - save progress after several hours of gameplay on console. The only thing that MAY possibly get saved is your character's location on the map. Structures, tames, crafted items, gained levels, etc vanish after logging out and back in. None of it's there. The community has come up with many work-arounds (some examples of workarounds listed below) for the save issues, but it eventually fails to save completely. Make note that I am not using mods.

1.) DestroyWildDinos Command to clear the dinosaur population to make it easier to save (eventually stops working)

2.) Building Foundations at location 50,50 to prevent the dino spawn glitch. (Have not attempted)

3.) Changing a setting, saving from the settings menu, then closing the app without exiting to the main menu (eventually stops working)

4.) Dying and respawning to force a save (has never worked)

5.) SaveWorld command (has never worked)

6.) Reducing dino spawn rate in settings (found out today and will try)

7.) Exiting the game then loading back in after allowing some time to pass. (has never worked)

We should not have to do all this nonsense to SAVE PROGRESS in a game that needs us to progress. That doesn't make sense and there's legit no point to playing the game. Please Help, Fix, or Advise.
