ARK gives me on average 80fps between low and medium settings with DLSS on at ultra performance, however it still feels like I am playing on 40fps on any other game.

Admittedly, the performance preset from this update makes this a bit better, but it's still not as snappy as it should be

I would recommend making the cuddle interval 0.001 (can instantly cuddle), changing the maturation speed to 60 or higher, then set the mating interval to 0.10 or 0.010 or 0.005, then setting cuddle lose imprint quality speed multiple to around 0.0001 (doesn't lose imprint quality)

You're right about the dev kit, it's all based on EmptyCryopod_C internally with custom data. But for server INI config, Ark treats them as separate strings for some reason, especially with global multipliers. So, to stop filled ones from stacking too, you still need this line in Game.ini:

I've also hosted ark servers for 8 years. I have both perspectives. applying PrimalItem_WeaponCryoPod_C will affect no item within the game as there is no class within the game other than a modded class thats named PrimalItem_WeaponCryoPod_C

Changing the class at runtime would require a bunch of unnecessary overhead and yet the class would still have to exist as not to get a runtime error. It would be pointless to use and undefined class in the INI.

the simple explanation is the evolved is made on a modified beta version of unreal engine 4... so its not even properly made on the engine

also evolved was a spaghetti code fuckfest so it would have been needed to be recoded from the ground up anyways

we have the switch version to thank for that ark recode btw, since ASA is a recoded version of the switch recode

Our MP servers running, including CS structures mod, and a few others (include a spyglass) and only issue (but major) is items and dinos, cryos etc ,all stack funny and either you lose things (ack, high end weapons or dinos) Or can (dup things, woohoo or ack, depending on how you feel about it) And my hour or so playing on my I5, 3050 fps seems to be 20-30fps more and more stable so I'd say on ISLAND, much more optimized. I've choosen to log off and not risk losing already dinos and items because of the stacking issue
