The update is not big, it was 352 mb, the 100gb you're seeing is jus patching the game after installing the update

true, what we do to tame them is just having a storage prepared with everything whats needed to tame it. Then we play the game normal and as soon as one of your tribemates finds one you ll be there fully prepared within a few minutes.

this was never an issue on Ark SA. This should not be an issue now. Noone is transeferring due to this. But I need to know if this is a Ark issue or a server issue... I havent seen others complaining about it so that wondering if not everyone is having the issue. I just need some confirmation so I dont keep testing it and losing my mind in the process. This has been the most stressful experience I have had running servers, been doing it for 4 years now.... this crap is making me want to call it quits. We pay so much money for a broken service.

weird you had this issue on Ark SA.... We not once had this issues, transferred characters with full loads multiple times a day. Of course, every once in a while there would be issue with character loss... but never like this.

I guess we will just have to have different characters on each map. Have you been transferring items and dinos through the Obelisk without issue?

Hello I am trying to make a server with ASM and I seem to have an issue with some engrams. I cannot craft bow, slingshot and arrows. They are just yellow and it says that I need to learn them first.

you have to have another system to run the server off of. So basically, you would have to have another computer or xbox running constantly that just runs the server... if u turn that system off then the server will go down until you log back in

you start a little bit differently depending on the map, but usually I would go for a parasaur early-game.

Generally early on you want to level weight, health, fortitude, stamina. Which one depends on what you're struggling with most.

I would start by getting some thatch foundations, a mortar and pestle, and split all your raw meat into stacks of 1 to spoil it in order to make narcotic for tranq arrows later. Early on, try to get a parasaur and raptors when you can. Stegosaurus as well is imo the best early game tame in the entire game.

Had same issue with multiple tames showing level 1. When I ride then it won't update current health, stam usage or weight. Almost lost my Rex kiting a rock golem but luckily it showed true on my tribe mates screen and he warned me it was super bloody. Make sure the enablecheats worked, you should see enable creative mode in menu after entering adin pw

Hey @tough yarrow since se came out I’ve had to run my character back and forth to obs and upload and then open the other map and download my character back and forth but now I have 2 of the same characters on each map (no longer needing to upload my guy is this normal or a bug)

Strangest bug I’ve ever encountered. Did the dragon underwater cave on the island last night, then after completion I picked up the two giga hearts I needed and went to bed. Logged on today and the artifact and sharks I used for the cave are gone, but I still have the giga hearts.

you could make individual server installs and share the pak/mod files with symlinks easily enough. there is also ?AltSaveDirectoryName, but i think it only applies to the actual worldsave, not config?

the island is well known for not having large flat areas

ragnarok should be coming along to solve that problem later this year, otherwise you are going to need building mods, or tricks to lower foundations
