Our unofficial server lost all the items from the Love Ascended mod because of this update.

So effectively we all had to suffer the stupid lovebugs (for MUCH longer than we should have because their 'make mods passive' thing never works for weeks) and go through the painful fishing exercise to attain them. Only for the devs to not bother testing an update before release again and lose it all.

Oh, and my character now looks like someone I wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley!!

I like the reusable grappling hook mod for that... for some reason, you can get high in a tree or on a rock and stand (well, bounce) on the hook. Can turn and use tranq gun, though.

Ive spent over 2 hours testing and from what i have found, all MODS i use are working fine - Any server/world i try and join where i dont have an existing character is fine.

When i try and load into the server i run with my existing character - I Crash with "actor" related files.
There is something broken within the base files of the game related to the old character saved data. Wildcard is just too silly to see that or honestly, dont know how to fix it

nope, unless you do the ascension bosses on the island plus the notes and the chibis, se, ab, gen 1, 2 then there is no way to progress on fjordur alone.

you can always get 5 extra levels by leveling up a chibi.

no, you should be able to get to 120. 200 runes will give you 10 levels, plus your 105 max and a leveled chibi will give you 115 for a total of 120, if you beat the alpha boss on ab that'll give you an extra 15 levels to 135.

You will need to go into your mod list and make sure any wildcard mods are first in the id active mod list and and then move all mods that are bigger or need secondary support are following that. Because if they are at the tail end it will cause that issue. Some need to be further up the list also you will need to make sure all mods are fully up to date

I removed Discovery, ASR, Shiny! Dinos, Cliffans Wardrobe, MarniiMods Hairstyles, Klinger Add't Rustic Building. My server was stuck in a restart loop (not nitrado server) until I did and my SP would crash also with same mods. My server is working currently and so is my SP. I had to rebuild my base lol but it's working. (Also worth noting I only started this server up the other day so I wasn't very far. I could understand why some people might not be able to just easily remove mods)

Discovered mods that crash since the update: "Wireless Power Repeater" and "Electric Power Amplifier" crash the game. Not the mods themselves, but the "amplifiers". As soon as you get close to them -> crash. If none is set, everything is fine. Both are mods where something can be set IN structures - that seems to be the problem. A Randis Wireless Power works, for example - you place the parts somewhere on structures. Maybe it helps 😉

Depends on the theris 19 and a yuty should do fine as long as the theris are decent. Make sure the yuty isn’t trash. Saddles I’ve 80 armour for both yuty and theri. Cakes garuntee it but should be fine without them

they try to avoid breaking mods, but a lot of mods do really weird stuff they never intended, or get their fingers pretty far into the game innards

It has been advised not to delete any of your mods as it isn't a mod issue it's a wildcard issue, there is a problem with the new ui system they've tried to implement that has broken everything, removing mods will just cause your players to loose dinos and building, the advice from all sides is to just wait it out as wildcard are working on the fix.

People play official, because they have a mindset that the server will always be there. In the past they may have also played for no mods, but ASA introduced mods to officials. Unofficials may disappear, especially hosted/paid servers (Nitrado servers), due to cost or boredom over time.

Klinger structures and cliffian wardrobe both didn't work for me

We have Cliffian on both our servers. Last I heard was people saying it's Automated Ark or any other mod that has a structure that turns it on and off. Then of course some dino overhaul mods. Though I can't play single player either because it crashes before it loads.

I was crashing instantly when I had that mod skin on. I turned it off and I could make it back to the base where the structures made me crash
