I had an idea for a 4-section ark based on the seasons, with a boss each.

A lush temperate islands for Spring, a Jungle for Summer, A volcanic environment for Autumn, & a Tundra for Winter (this environment being effectively a reverse Aberration with the surface being so cold you would need to be underground)

These environments would have a singular boss that you would have to defeat.

And the final boss of the map takes place on Mars.

This sounds oddly familiar if you played any amount of Genesis.

Even down to the fact the final boss is a "ring style arena" with catapults on the far edges to take down the enemy at the center.
