@torpid thicket after extreme testing i can tell you. turn off the rtx settings. and use the high graphics preset. and run the game in fullscreen borderless.

dx12 doesnt like exclusive fullscreen (look at any recent game with dx12. it doesnt have excusive fullscreen for this reason!)

and theres issues with the dlss implementation from swc.

and bad dlss implementation. but okay not like i havent done my research on this. and 20 other people on here with diff setups have tested my theory and found the saem with ultra preset. exclusive fullscreen and dlss.

well the dlss is implementated badly by swc. no offence to them but they need help optimising the code by nvidia. to work out the issues. and swc for sure need to disable exclusive fullscreen.

It's possible but doubtful. Usually they don't spawn close to your structures but sometimes they wander in. So you will want to leave a few dinos outside of your walls on neutral

I started this game in 2016 and played up until the last month the official servers were up. We don't have breeders anymore to buy dinos from and we don't have transfers right now even if we did. If they can add dedi boxes they should be able to add cryos in. Our tribe broke into 3 different ones and probably gonna have another before the event.

People bred without them true, you need lots and lots of dinos yes. You don't know what the top wild stat you can get is until you tame as many as you can. That's ankys, mammoths, brontos (especially now that we have bugs) ect...And if there are 20 people in a tribe, the tame count gets out of hand quickly.

I don't run our server, I just know that's the command for the prime meat stack we used in ours. I think it would be game ini though. I think the server also needs to be offline when the change is made or otherwise it will revert to default on restart.

Yeah they are pretty easy to tame. Just have like 20 bolas on you. When you come up to a group of them, bola them all ( u will take some damage here) and kill the ones you dont want. Then the one u want will probably get loose so u will have to bolt it again then hit it with tranqs til it drops.

There's a shallow, icy cove on the northwest coast, just north of the transition from tropical to snow. Dive underwater there and look for the pearly-looking nodes. You'll want fur armor or scuba, level up your fortitude, and/or use Lazarus chowder and fria curry. Watch for piranhas in the shallows, megs and manta in the deeper part.

There's more pearls in the shallows along the north coast, but they're more scattered.

3060TI works okay if you keep the graphics settings to medium for the most part. Textures can stay on high. At 1440p I get 45-55 FPS most of the time, depending on the surroundings.

Apparently you have to disable wander first THEN disable breed.

Yeah so there’s a new extended info button for dinos thats actually more just a way to hide the info because you should see the info by default but i hid the extended info earlier bevause it wasn’t really necessary but turns out that extended info shows the breeding timer and mating timer etc

@oblique solstice on ase there is a timer between breeding. It's on asa as well but doesn't always show up. I noticed it while breeding argys. I just left them on breed and they popped out with the eggs I'd check my ovi periodically and had a bunch in there

actually no! But IF foliage interaction is ON and I close an inventory - crafting bench, chest, bookshelf, vault, whatever - my game will crash about 20% of the time.

however with it off rocks, grass snowclumps, roots and stuff all float off the ground at weird angles making moving around impossible, especially on hills

so I have to re-enable it after i join - but it doesnt FULLY enable it if you turn it on while in game - it tells you to return to menu for changes to take effect - whatever change that is is what makes my game crash. But with it on and without going to menu I still get the benefit of rocks and roots and stuff forming to terrain normally

but grass doesnt move when I or dinos move through it unfortunately

Yes and no. I'm noticing some dinos spawning more than others but I've always found the ones I'm looking for in their usual areas. There's just like 7:1 ratio on predators to herbivores it feels like so they're dying shortly after I spot them

Yeah there's a chance the Potion mods might be "fighting" each other and the other one is higher so it won. The game has to read the code you give it and sometimes diff mods interacting can confuse it
