I tried playing single player or hosting a non-dedicated server but every time the game crashed I’d lose progress. At one point, I had over -100 engram points. It made the game unplayable. I also couldn’t play with my husband without tethering, so I finally just decided to host a private server and it’s been great.

Probably never, at least on Battleye servers. WC worked with Nvidia to get DLSS implemented. There are ways to implement FSR3 on games that don't have it natively, but you'll have to google that and probably use reshade, which will get you Battleye'd.

Pre-AMD, they were great, but since then, I've noticed significantly lower stability and many more issues with artifacts and weirdness, especially when it comes to translucent surfaces, shadows and reflections (in games not built specifically for Radeon)

REPORTING A BUG.. doesnt work because it brings me to a page that says it cant be reached on the ark page itself.
My bug is the constant flickering light of sun coming through. no bloom, no shafts.
I had partial stone and partial glass for a nice look of outside.
I like to see what Im stepping out into before I do. no surpises.
well the sun light flickering looks like the trees might be cutting in and out in front of the sun.
I thought wow. cute, realism a bit. but I dont like it. its making me sick..
so I took the glass walls down and put up stone.. still flickering in my should be dark home..

Oh yeah, they're definitely working on the game and making progress. I know they've been focussed on server performance and stability mainly, but there have been some big improvements to client stability as well.
