well no but this game will either just crash on startup or look so incredibly bad that people will refund with the state the game is in at the moment. There's been 1 performance patch which didn't really do anything and it's now october 31st... looking unlikely to be coming to console in early november. If I was a console player I'd put my anticipation for this game on the back burner hope its out in time for christmas

Also pc players are more tolerant. Weak pc users will just accept low frames and rtx 4090 would get playable frames. Also we can tweak performance better then consoles. While for console, they have to get 30fps on Series S.

And steam is also more tolerant to broken games then console stores

Well.. 75% of the dinos aren't in yet because the only map currently is the Island.
Everything that was on the Island when officials ended, is what is on the Island now, minus Tek creatures and items that were specifically added with DLC maps, like cryopods with Extinction.

@empty onyx thats quite similar to me, i crash once every 4-5 hours of gameplay with these settings: Task manager set ASA to high priority, Low preset (for low Anti-aliasing), epic textures, med shadows, epic advanced textures, high foliage, everything else medium. @scarlet violet this comment might not go down well but i personally think the game only looks good on epic everything. Anything lower than max just looks visually confusing and kinda horrible, games like bfV and RDR2 look better than ASA on high or lower and run 10x better

Dino spawning problem is wide spread. You need to add -ForceDinoRespawn to you batch file and restart the server AFTER doing a dino wipe. This will only fix the prob for about an hour.

Yeah I placed an intake in the water, then it’ll show the range of the intake. Place a water tank at the very edge of the radius of the intake. You’ll then get more radius with the tank being filled by the intake. You can then place more water tanks at the edge of the water tank radius you placed previously until you get close enough to your crops

We are running a Dedicated Server and during Game play we lost power server went down. When we went back in all of our tames stated that we can claim them again in 8 hrs. We are in the same tribe?? Also we can get into all storage but cannot pickup any structures and doors are locked. All are stating that everything dinos, structures and players are in the same tribe? Is this a game or save issue? We have reverted to an older save as well. Nothing.. We cant pickup or add to the build as well. Any help would be appreciated or if anyone experiencing the same. Nah, the game has issues. Lots of issues. But they can be mitigated with better hardware. I wouldn't expect much in the way of improvements past here, maybe less crashing.

Yeah, from what I've seen people with lower settings/weaker cards aren't having issues. It's not anything against your build, but most people with issues have like 40-series cards.

I have a 4070 a A770 and a 2060. Of the three, the 2060 seems to have the most issues, mostly performance related.

Yeah, us running ultra, or with fluid/foliage physics, and volumetric clouds still on, crashing. Though I've tried much lower settings too, and still crashing. At least with that memory fix it's seemed to help a ton.

I’ve been documenting where the worst of them are. It’s mostly just one texture, the grouping of small rocks on edges, they can probably scale it (since it’s ue5 !! So a lot of those will be fixed)
