it is all 30 min server crash. The server manges to run until the second server safe and than return to the last safe after crash. Problem is that logging into the server takes from 2-10 min. so basically you can only make progress or tame until the first safe. afterwards, every action or moving is unecessary.

Who cares if it looks horrible, first of all those gives u a great competetive advantage, if you want to play Pve crank it to max but if youre gonn play pvp u want the least amount of unimportant leafs blocking ur pov and smoothest gameplay possible with minimum input delay youre not achieving that on epic settings even if I could run epic I rather run lowest everything except view distance and no ground clutter. still better than 10fps even with a few ms of input lag lol.. + the servers on official are really slow so even if you think you're moving around real quick locally, the server and thus other people don't see it that way. In a game like ark a few ms of input lag is nothing. it's not fortnite.

Try using -dx11 as a steam launch parameter. If it works for you make your character, finalize it and spawn in, close the game and remove the launch parameter (cause it runs horribly with it). Reopen the game and you should be good to go. Repeat every time you need to make a new character on a different server and such

They said it's recoded, from the ground up: meaning there was 0 reused or repurposed code from ASE. But they're fucking lying though cause they reused a lot of the code, if you've used admin commands, you would've noticed every single DLC Dino is still in code, everything from scorched to gen 2 to fjodur. If they recoded everything they would've had to manually add these, and they wouldn't of considering they delayed and were scraping time to push out the barebone version of ASA, so where did the time to add this surplus of 200+ creatures come from, when the island only has around 100? Not to mention half the textures are broken, meaning they imported them from the code directly and not individually. They cut a lot of corners and lied about a lot of shit development wise.

Gonna be a bit of a long message but I managed to get my game to run at 50-60 FPS at 1440p. My setup is an rtx 2070 and a ryzen 2600 (Which is below minimum requirements btw) and 16gb of ram. My in game settings are 1440p res, fulscreen, res scale 100, advanced graphics at low, anti aliasing at high, view distance at high, textures at medium, post processing low, general shadows medium, then the last 3 on the left side are all low. right side has no frame cap, and everything off. I never touched foliage settings on the right side. Now next are the ones that really helped. You need to update your graphics drivers to current, when in game use r.volumetricclouds 0 (It looks better off and gives you 10-15 free fps). Here was the biggest things. My RAM has clock speed of 3000 but all this time it has been set to 2133 clock speed in the bios. Go Into Your Bios And Make Sure Its The Max Your Ram Can Handle. Finally I updated my bios for the absolute first time and it helped tremendously. Before RAM change and bios update I had 35 FPS with the above settings and clouds off. Now I get 50-60 FPS. It's amazing what updating your bios can do!!!!

For PvP Official servers you shouldnt be able to input commands to change graphical details(ini files) for the game. That just defeats the purpose of having such beautiful graphics that blend in with the new ghillie suit, etc., because everyone is going to run around with less graphical settings to have an advantage against those that don't apply those settings.
