If wild card doesn't launch the game by the end of October, then snail games has all rights to choose one server host for ASA and ARK1. The one they can take a 30% of the profit from. Its all in the contract, its a weird loop hole that you have to question why it was in there in the first place. If they didn't have a plan to use it. So wildcard might just be saving face by saying we're trying we're trying to launch, then bam. November hits, they close down the majority of private servers, that aren't hosted by their server host (Snail). They make money off private servers. Just like they want to charge for MODS, its seem like this is all a setup so they can make money off private servers.

to be fair ... SG seems to be the most at fault. They've burned through the money that WC's product has earned. I would not be surprised if ASA weren't released before Nov 1st, which would base the revenue to pay back a $7 billion loan to ASE instead of ASA. When ASA is released, ASE's income will probably drop to almost nothing - that would lower the payments dramatically.
