just how the mechanic works.

passive heal drains food upfront for 30 seconds, then does the heal over time. if you cast it or active healing again within those 30 seconds, it will do nothing.

active heal also has some of a small delay iirc. best if you wait for the aura to disappear entirely.

Yeah have it trapped, then have a catapult facing it about 3 or 4 pillars high, aim the back of the shell and use a magnifying glass from time to time when its low hp so you dont accidentally kill it

Theri I think is generally going to be a better boss dino because of the veggie cakes if nothing else, but if you have a 200 armor spino saddle and engram-grade theri saddles that's not going to mean a whole lot

Blueprints ain't stupid 😂😂 they are highly useful. Allows u to make that item without even unlocking the engram and if you have the arb BP you can make more than a 1000 a time when hitting triangle on each bp one after the other instead of only doing that 1 1000 stack at a time

breeding operation is kind of unnecessary. tame like, the first 3 light pets you find/like and thats good enough for the rest of the game and if not, i highly doubt you'd lose all of them on one expedition so you'd be able to recover a dead light pet with an existing light pet + unrendered dinos are, well, unrendered. i'd assume you have plenty of time to grab the first bulbdog you see while retrieving whatever you lost.

Respawn yes I believe so, but in single player there's some kind of bug that they just don't spawn to begin with

Ah, OK. I switched to running a server on a spare computer after realising that creatures didn't respawn in single player. That was years ago, so maybe that's been fixed. But single player has always had it's issues.

U can transfer with stuff in your inventory but the timer has to be up first. If u have a timer anything on u will be left behind. If no timer u can transfer with whatever u have on your person aslong as ya not blackboxed

Go into thier behaviour and disable wandering. If they continue to wander whistle stop n they should stop

Can also make them passive which stops em runnin off but they won't defend themselves if attacked

Yes that's cos they are probably on neutral or aggressive.

If neutral anything that attacks them they fight back. On aggressive anything gets close they go after it.

On passive they will chill but won't defend themselves

I feel like it's such an integral part of the game that it kinda ruins a bit of the fun... you grind to get all the stuff and the right dino to raid the caves and you don't get any reward apart from the artifact. Instead you just spend hours flying around chasing loot drops hoping to get something decent

There is a setting to turn on and off spawing with those skins
