So off the bat I’d say 6 pairs of theris with a (1M:6F) ratio sounds like a lot to manage. Instead I’d make one big group of 1 male to however many females you want. That way you can easily replace the baby with the desired mutation with the parent. And if you do get a female with a mutation you want just breed it with a clean male until you get a baby male with the mothers mutation

We have a bunch of ascendant regular shotguns, though. What would the best alternative be; a bunch of normal 100% damage pump-action shotguns, or a good (300%+) ascendant shotgun (not pump-action)?
