Helena knew he was afraid and acting out of fear all this time, out of fear of being forgotten or dismissed for his work, out of fear of dying... It hits hard when you think about it. He never had a "redemption" per se, but he sure as hell did show that he was still a man after all, and that he could feel, and has been feeling, fear, if not for all this time. While it doesn't redeem his actions, it explains them beautifully in a way that makes the character enjoyable, if not almost relatable, in the way that he acted out of impulse and fear. I think, blatant if not forced religious references aside, this writing for Rockwell is spot-on.||

It's just how your computer is rendering the creatures. You can do a few things to help your PC render some things better, like pressing "end" to disable creature name tags, perhaps lowering your graphic settings, disabling "light bloom/shafts" in your settings

@opal rain The idea I wrote on the dossier about it stealing stuff would be a small chance of them trying to steal something from your death cache (since they are curious animals) but that would only happen once you are close to the cache so it's fair (like they wouldn't steal if you are still far away from coming back, and you can kill or spook them away before they get a chance to steal something). And if you have a tame nearby your death cache (maybe left behind when you died) they wouldn't come close as they are skittish. I didn't want to make them annoying like an ichty or a pego, but I believe that they had to have some sort of interaction with the players. About the loot crates, someone on the thread suggested that they could fly over to loot crates to check their content for you and maybe even bring you something from it without you have to go all the way there, kinda like the awesome spyglass mod allows you to check the content from a distance before opening 😊

Yeah that is another ability I picked for it too! Through my concept they would be able to do both things - "scan" (like the Parasaur) for nearby loot crates and treasures & pointing the way to them, and once you have the crate in your field of vision the Yi Qi would be able to check the contents from a distance.

typically the best way to transport ~10 creatures is to do a straight line, so you'll ride trike 1 and trike 2 will follow, trike 3 will follow trike 2, trike 4 follows trike 3, etc. Put the follow distance on low if this doesn't work, typically you'll end up literally leading the line.

that's weirdly accurate: the word you're referencing is petroleum which comes from the greek word for rock (petra) and the latin word for oil (oleum). It's just an exchange of suffixes, a petrotheon is a rock god while petroleum is rock oil and rock carvings are known as petroglyphs.
