I'm actually not sure, I'm on single player, I had failed to tame it once when I closed my game after feeding it two fish only for me to come back and see the taming progress literally DRAINING.

I stopped playing for awhile, said "fuck it" once I forgot how frustrated I was and got a bunch more fish everything went smoothly except the occasional loss of afew fish via the "too small" bug and the mini heart attacks I had when they happened as I panicked to get another fish in my hotbar 💀

best tip I can give is have atleast 2 pieces of Ghillie on, and the rest be essential tek gear for mobility

also before you start drag any nearby shadowmanes off the nearest waterfall so they don't have the chance to join up lmfao
