Just tested, unfortunately you don't spawn facing just the 4 directions.. So the only other method I know is again, go to the corner of the world and you gotta eyeball the foundation till it looks lined up with both borders

Last advice before I head to bed my man. As a dev, while editing a map and placing assets, you need to set a rotation value, which is tied to the map obviously, which means if an assets rotation is 0 or a multiple of 90, that means it's aligned with the "world grid" You could attempt to find a wall or statue that stands out, and check your map to eyeball if it looks super close to what you would say is facing NESW, then it probably is perfect. You could try to align a foundation with this 😆 it's a lot I know but it is what it is I guess..

Not always but if it looks almost perfect, it probably is. It's just a simple rotation value, if it's not rotated to fit the scene, it's probably just an even multiple of 90

you dont, beyond eyeballing it and hoping it is good enough. unless you get a custom mod for it. if it is singleplayer/your server, use setcheatplayer 1 to see exact coordinates and align yourself until walking forward/backward only moves you on one axis, which means you are facing along a cardinal direction

That's not true. Player structures have no bearing on spawn conditions. Any structures built on an overlapping point with a mission-related structure will automatically decay upon the mission spawn.

There's only one spawn condition: no player Thralls or dinos within the mission area.

Mate dinos and on rare occasions the baby will have a mutation in random stats.
Babies get the SUM of mutation on their parents:
Mom 3, Dad 5 = baby will show 3 mutation on mom's side and 5 on dads side, but if you mate this baby with another dino, it will show as this dino having 8 mutations.
So 3+5=8
New mom 8, same dad 5 = 8+5= 13 mutation on the baby.
Simple math - mom+dad=baby mutation count.

Now if you want to start getting mutations, at least 1 dino (Mom or Dad) needs to have less that 20 mutations. You have 2 chances of getting mutations - Mom's and Dad's side. Any number over 19 is equal or higher than 20 so this side won't get any new mutations.
Usually breeders do level 1 or low level females with 0/20 mutations so they would be cheap to clone have have less of the undesirable stats like oxygen and the male could have more than 20 mutations. You also most likely will want the mutation on a male because you mate the male with many females, but to get the next mutation on the female might take months because it will only be able to mate once every 1-2 days and the chance of getting the next mutation this way is very, very low. If you get the mutation on a female, you will want mate all females again to get it on a male baby (if you have a lot of females) or mate the female with a male, trying to get the mutation on a male baby so you can continue to mate this new male with your females for the next mut.

Get yourself a male and female (s) and breed until you have a male and female with the exact same stats (ones that you want) then breed many more females out of them.

Now you have a breeding group, keep all the females clean of mutations and then when you get a male with the mutation you want, swap out the no mut male. rinse and repeat.

You'll do this for each stat IE one group for health, one group for melee

as a good rule of thumb, always keep your original breeding pair, just in case

I would welcome those restrictions. People are planning to transfer carch, gig, and deinu in order to constantly plunder the outpost. The server will be down every few minutes. Even with the cuts that everyone recommended, the server lags after launching the outposts. I'm quite afraid of what it will do to the map when the outposts are launched on a large scale.

The very very very vast majority of players (I’d say 99%) that use max mutated dinos have not done any mutation breeding whatsoever on any Dino, they trade for eggs or get them for free through various ways, like I give away stuff all the time and I know most others also share so getting there is no hassle

for a few month i had problems with my mods. i logged in and my base was without all mods and i took up to 10 min for all mods to load in. more often than not i crashed while the mods were loading in. i had to log out in an area far from my base and wait 10 min to be safe to go to my base without crashing. BUT all that changed with the update a few days ago. now i log in and my base loads with all mods present. no waiting and no crashes while waiting. so thank you and please dont change it back again ❤️
