Has this happened to anyone else? I was taming a Carnotaurus. It was level 70, but it took some damage and its effectiveness dropped to only gaining 5 levels. It should have reached level 75. But it was tamed and ended up at level 87, meaning it gained extra levels.

Thing is, without it people would just put do a foundation and block it completely. Gas collectors decay very quickly and fill fast. So you have one down for a few days and get many thousands. So tribes don't need them constantly. Just watch for the decay timer on it.
