Solwyn is bugged for psn vs steam. Exp is decimals for adventure xp on psn. Exp is whole numbers for steam. Have your steam players do the level check. Then have them transform it. Psn won’t be able too. Easy money. Hope this helps someone, I found out the hard way.

A lot of the server crashing issues are more the unfortunate partnership WC made with Nitrado to host the servers. I've been running LC on my own server with zero crashes or server related problems. What's bugged in the game itself is still bugged, but the server hasn't been a problem.

Because ASA, for all it's problems, is arguably a better experience than you'll get with ASE in its current state. It is being actively maintained and developed by WC, while ASE is not, unless there's something unholy that Snail Games hasn't announced they're planning on doing with it.

Its not a bad thing but wayyyyy worse than island ever was. Its rare on this map to see a creature over 50. If there was drops so you can get gear i probably would not care but its just so slow going. I think we are most built up on our map on our Official server but to go from Rag to LC is night and day haha. We are still playing and learning. I'm not calling it bad but not calling it good either. Crystal isles comes out i'll be bolting there 🙂

Wasn't that explained in the announcements for them? That the Malwyn was the fighter and the Solwyn was a travel mount? Not sure what the issue is we new what we were getting with them. Heck one of it's abilities is to create an ice bridge. It's basically on the same level as a harvesting mount. You don't fight with those generally speaking?

Well for sure. But that's what gives tames value. You don't just whip out a spy glass and see several high level tames in your vicinity.
They are rare and this generally opens up your server to more trading as folks will be less likely to have high level or high stated creatures.
If anything it's good for your servers community.

Yeah I've had that too. I kod a decentish megatherium and oh boy did that cause drama. Several tribes were trying to lay claim to it. we saw it first even though I had time to knock it out after trapping. So they tried to kite it.
Fortunately I'm no beach Bob and it tamed out.

I don't get how anyone can defend WC or LC at this point... 80%+ of the content is straight up not working at all... not a little wonky or with a few bugs... it just doesn't work. 4/5 mission types arent spawning, veilwyns can't be evolved, bossfight requires unobtainable tributes. Lootcrates don't spawn outside of caves (there are spawn points for them in the city... they just don't respawn ever). The only thing that's kinda working as intended is the desmo... and even that is just a blatant reskin of a tapejara, to the point where I did a few quests for taming and raising a "tapejara" on LC... oh... speaking of quests... fat chance of completing those once you get to the "defeat gamma lost King" or "complete suply cache/defense outpost" ones

Is there a way to optimize ark without losing much fedelity? Got a 4060 and the fps is crazy low for medium setting(20fps)

I did the same and with fg i can push it to 50-60fps still drops a lot during combat
