I think the issues with astraeos is the same issues with all the other servers, just more obvious and pronounced because of the size and detail of the map. Wild Card did a rush job of ASA, copying and pasteing code from ASE that didnt work well with Unreal 5.5 and do what ever tweaks and nonsense coding to make it work. Like hammering puzzle pieces from a different puzzle into the one you are working on

official astraeos problem is an excessive excess amount of dinos and structure bringing the memory usage of the server hosting that map to their limits, no server can handle 50+ tribes with 200 dinos always out and breeding and with 300+ cloners on 24/7. The problem is only exaggerated with the ease of element in astraeos

That is part of the problem yes, but to blame the player base for it is silly. The game although better than what it was is still very unoptimized and the issues lies in the rush job of having ASA released as soon as possible.

WildCard/Snail Games could have impliminted cloner limits per tribe or player ID code, could have restricted number of dinos out etc... but they didnt. So the players play within the ruleset that was implemented.

I have 0 cloners and 0 dinos out unless using it. Sure it gets frustrating and annoying. The base next to me has 40 cloners out but I cant blame them for playing within the parameters of the games rulesets

You are reading what you wrote write...... ASA was released BEFORE the deadline Snail PUT ON WC for the NITRADO DEAL. In other words, Snail Games rush WC to release ASA before the completion of the deal with Nitrado because of the penalty clause if ASA was not released before 10/31. ASA was not ready for actual release by then. WC was still figuring out UE 5 at that point. So yes it was a rush job
