The thing is, the custom colors are what make the SuperFan role special and more valuable. It's basically a privilege.

And taking away that privilege would make the custom colors worthless, basically.

Thing is, so far the only thing Superfan really unlocks is exactly that

if we open it to everyone now, the role would be fully worthless

i'd like to open it to everyone at some point, but i kinda want to find some new perks to give Sueprfan first

i guess back in Riot owned days superfan content was also a reward but i assume it's future is unclear
