#Improve the Fearless Draft HUD

It does matter. Like, look at the first screenshot. Do you see which team picked Gwen or Taliyah or Kalista ? Viewers, who just tuned in, would see this and they wouldn't know who picked these champions.
It's not clear, which is why I prefer the LCK's HUD
But why does it matter who picked it? It's out.
That's Muragane's point
It does matter because we don't know who picked it. How can you read a HUD like this especially when we arrive to game 5 ?
"It's out" but who picked it ? For me it matters, it needs more clarity.
yeah but who cares
its not like a ban its just out
i dont think its important to see which team picked it
When fearless didn't happen there wasn't anyone complaining that they needed to see which team pick which champions in previous games of a series
When fearless now happens, then you come up with this complain
And for all purposes of fearless, there is no need to care which team picked which champion? A champion picked is banned. You only need to know which side picks what if you are doing half fearless and one team can still use the champion the opponents have used
"When fearless didn't happen there wasn't anyone complaining that they needed to see which team pick which champions in previous games of a series"
I mean... DUH. It wasn't Fearless, so the bans weren't carried over. We didn't care that much.
"When fearless now happens, then you come up with this complain"
So you'd rather not know who picked what and remain confused with this HUD instead ? Look at the LEC's picks and bans HUD again and tell me this is what you really want : showing the series bans that don't show who picked what.
Here's another example : KC vs Fnatic. We see game 1's series bans but it doesn't show which team picked the champions ! KC's game 1 draft is on the blue side while they're now playing on the red side in game 2, which can be confusing, even more as the series goes longer. You cannot just say "it's out, it's out" while this kind of HUD doesn't show all information.
This HUD for example is MUCH BETTER, just like the LCK's : we know precisely which team picked what champions in which game. That what I'd like to see in the LEC's HUD.
<@&737297090190770227> Please tell me what you think, if this should be addressed...
i disagree hard. This is not better in fact its worse because its so small and again its not important to know who picked what when
LPL hud is way more confusing
You're trolling at this point... This HUD shows all information needed for Fearless and you call that confusing ?
Like, what do you want ???
i want the current hud? its way more simple to understand
because i dont think there is anything wrong with it
There is something wrong and you know it. Lack of information, lack of clarity... For me it's not as simple as you think.
My case stands either way. The LEC's HUD needs improvement.
So you'd rather not know who picked what and remain confused with this HUD instead ?
You cannot just say "it's out, it's out" while this kind of HUD doesn't show all information.
Why do you need to know that
I don't get it, you are just arguing in circles without producing any other logic to back yourself up
Somehow you need to know what team picks what in which case when it means jackall for the purpose of fearless
and calling people "trolling" when people point out a smaller UI is not necessarily better than one that gives the relevant information enough for fearless
You're not producing any logic either.
All I'm saying is to have a clearer HUD. I'm giving examples, I'm explaining my case and yet you still you don't see what I mean...
You can't, in good conscience, say the LEC's HUD is good enough. It's not, there's clearly something wrong.
Because I'm speaking for the viewers in general
I think you're saying all of this because you assume the viewers are watching the series right off the start.
But what if the viewers just tune in and see this HUD ? They'd be confused because they wouldn't know who picked what.
That's what I mean by clarity and information.
0 upvotes, and you getting 1v2'd here. If you are speaking "in general" then you need to prove your majority
No because they don't need to know who picked what for the purposes of fearless
If they wanted to know who picked what, they can pull back the VOD or use Leaguepedia or Liquipedia. Has been the case for 2024 or before
Fearless didn't change the ability to do that
Also
You're not producing any logic either.
doesn't make any sense because you are the one proposing that the current HUD sucks, so the burden of proving that it sucks is on you, else status quo is fine.
Since when approving a feedback must be first approved by the majority...? As far as I know, my suggestion of turning the feedback channel into a forum only got 2 upvotes and it still got approved anyway.
Yes, they do need to know, especially when it's live. And the fact you don't like the LCK or LPL HUDs is just not logic since they provide all the info needed. Do you actually think they would bother themselves checking the replays or use Leaguepedia/Liquipedia ?
I did prove that it sucks and I did explain everything, mainly the lack of clarity and information. It does matter to me.
I just don't understand you. I truly don't.
Either way, my case stands.
Sometimes less is more
I think what you don’t realize is that there is theoretically an infinite amount of info that you COULD show on the champ select HUD (the runes & summs used last game, the players soloq histories, the players career most played champs, the KDA of each champ last game, etc.). Many of these (career most played champs) are probably much more relavent to champ select than which champ they played in the previous game. But why don’t we just dump all of this info on the screen? Obviously visual clutter. For the same reason we don’t show fearless bans DURING the game, even though someone just tuning in could be confused as to why they drafted they way that they did.
Each piece of information displayed doesn’t just have to provide SOME information (like you seem to think), it needs to provide information that is IMPORTANT AND RELAVENT ENOUGH to justify increasing visual clutter on the broadcast.
No one disagrees that knowing who played what champ last game could be interesting, but. . . is there any reason we NEED to see it other than “Korea is doing it”?
I actually prefer grouping banned champs by the role. It introduce me really well into the draft situation. I don't care if one or the other team played that champion. Right now I want to know if this champion is AT ALL viable for that role.
If you want to know teamcomp from the previous game, you can rewind the youtube stream for example. But at that moment, it wont change how the draft is going.
