i was about to say a random indian guy on youtube, then i saw it said songs
to actually answer the question, i just shuffle my spotify liked
https://open.spotify.com/track/3Rho0TjpvbauID06XhM9aO?si=c800f964e63141eb
https://open.spotify.com/track/76zg1a9DvGpEHVVQh7Yuv1?si=82d448b93a7f4f18
https://open.spotify.com/track/51qs2DBzG2ANnZgkgXrVzO?si=8d2a2f31f2344ddb
https://open.spotify.com/artist/3YQKmKGau1PzlVlkL1iodx?si=f516b99d436e4fdd
There are some suggestions though
Also, https://open.spotify.com/artist/7vk5e3vY1uw9plTHJAMwjN?si=f03096060d84419c alan walker is pretty good, depending on the song, it fits with programming pretty well too
and last one, simply because its funny, a song from a 2nd grade science assignment
https://open.spotify.com/track/24THk2PNBqh1d9NenXkHzw?si=70742a7916594e25
Avantasia 😍😍
yee, i honestly havent listened to any of their other songs
that was one my mother listened to when id visit her
These are my favorites from them: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2ckAnESd3fYsIoQmGQDq0f?si=wO0GHDlSQUKPu0gd8e4-JA
Especially Farewell, Draconian Love and Book of Shallows
Tøp and Alan Walker are great as well of course. Need to give the other ones on your list a listen as well, I guess :D
you dont have raven child on here...
ye :/ I didn't want the playlist to get too long, so not all good songs from them are on it
Bruh I have a playlist with 1100 songs
well there is a difference between playlists of a certain genre or for a certain feeling/vibe or best ofs of artists. If a best of contains too many songs it's no longer a best of imo
I mean the playlist I listen to most of the time recently has nearly 3k songs in it 😂 https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6UVJj3AHBFT8viwNSZURHq?si=7a597f1a9a344669
Thank you guys for the playlists, I've started listening to them while programming.
I love your music taste Tim! Very good stuff
that's great to hear haha :) what are you listening to mostly? 👀
Currently vibing to the songs here
These are nice to just have in the background, but unlike the other playlist which has some fun sing along songs
Ahhh, I see. I like metal, rock & roll, punk, jazz, and some grunge here and there.
Nice, sounds good :) feel free to share your playlist(s), I'm always curious to explore new music
john coltrane, bill evans, stan getz, etc. good classic jazz
Taylor Swift >>
best music to listen to while programming in Swift 🙃
I just shuffle my liked songs on spotify
Give me a little bit and I will send my Spotify profile here and you can see all my playlists
Oh yeah, I forgot about that

Here is a cool one. One of the things I like about it is it makes references to certain programming things
It's kind of a sad song though
This is the playlist I listen while coding

361 EDM, techno, house songs
Ahrix - Nova, haven't heard that in a long time <3
I rarely listen to edm nowadays, but K-391 and Ahrix still is a vibe
I have some songs of K-391 too
summertime is a banger
i agree
Ivycomb, Ethan Ross, Stellar, Fast Boy, and RudyWade
Klaus Schulze
his album Kontinuum is just perfect
Other than that I don't really put music on while programming as I feel distracted by it
Something I can dance at. African tunes. I like humor in songs.
Here is my playlist(I like babytron if you couldn't tell) https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMv8eyuTivcnq-EYoPifRdc-wQZZbz01Y&si=L00fBObY-y2ql3Kd
https://open.spotify.com/track/47emsK4Cj4dMqctYq18U03?si=4EJdZs1lR_CcKocJeF0qZg
I've been listening to this on loop
Depends what you want and like, but I think Radiohead and Pink Floyd (and more) is nice when programming (and not only)
I have found myself listening to Radiohead and Pink Flyoyd while programming
His album is ok I guess, it has some masterpeices in there, but I don't think I could find myself listening to it while programming
What's your favorite song on the album?
I've only listened to the one song lol
Oh, whoops
dumb bird
no, just the song lol
zoom in your browser
No
I listened to this cover for hours in repeat while programming yesterday & today:

this cover is amazing
Yes, I can't get enough of it somehow 😂 it's a pitty it's not on Spotify. Think I'll download and cut out the "merry christmas" stuff at the end so I can add it to my Spotify at least :D
I thought about doing the same lol
Lol I will send you the file xD
ty :)
That's actually a really good cover
My new go-to on repeat song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKxump1Lco8
From the album "A Fortress Called Home". Pre-order here: https://orcd.co/afortresscalledhome

"Architect of Creation" Lyrics:
Finally the sun has set on my eternal eve
But with immortal life comes solemn responsibility
When everything I’ve ever wished is finall...
As much as I like music like this it's hard for me to pay attention with this kind of music when programming
usually same, but sometimes I just need some extra energy xD and if it's a song I know really well (and after listening to it on repeat for a few hours) it's really easy to only concentrate on programming ^^
Not music, but something I have been listening to as of late is creepypastas
Something about them are relaxing and easy to listen to
I listen to literally everything so heres my playlist, it includes all kinds of metal, rock, rap (Polish, English), pop and everything else: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7v8qaJIYKUCu7Rsp8Jocsy
Spotify Supremacy
Spotify with ad block
pandora +
I mean it's only available in US
imagine not having a job that pays for your spotify
I listen to Sonne by Rammiestien 😂😂. Or basically any rap music. It gives me some weird adrenaline
Just sonne? You're missing out on so much gold
I listen to Du Hast, Amerika and so much more
I love Rammiestien
And also Phonke.
what if i don't?
no, i don't audio. only if there is some tv show with audio what happens 2 or 3 times a week… not even radio…
adguard in hosts file. beat it
no ads in whole OS even if it's yt embed here (i have discord app)
but why tho? Keeping up whole infrastructure behind music streaming isn't cheap and you're cutting it's last way of earning money
True, some people don't have that money
Yay nice 🎉
I know in middle school, and early in highschool I didn't have money to get something like Spotify premium
Where now it isn't an issue, but if I never became attached to using Spotify thanks to ad blocking I wouldn't have ever got a premium subscription
I agree. When I was in school and had no way to pay for online services, software, etc, it was great being able to get stuff free/pirated/etc.
It's better and makes more sense to pay for it, though (as you want them being able to continue and improve the service), but it sometimes just isn't possible
Different topic: do you guys use the new audiobook feature of Spotify? 👀
Yes, it's rather new
Released a few weeks ago
That's the point of audiobooks 😂
I agree
they don't pay artists anyway
(it's better to go to a real concert if you'd like to support artist…)
honestly sometimes they charge so much you start to wonder if you're really supporting the artist
sure, the organisation is expensive, all the people there helping the concert are gonna get paid somehow, the costs of renting a place (stadium, discotheque, etc.) and travel
But still, charging 250€ for a taylor swift concert with tens of thousands of people just seems like they're stealing from you and you're allowing it
there are artists and artists. some of them have money and as far i saw they will never make anything cheap… (yk, infinite business growth)
