#Astrophotography Feedback

there is too much star reduction, I can see where you've made a starless layer and just added the stars back in, not so much that its a problem but more that it looks unnatural, you can try different blending modes to have a more natural look, and looking at m24 in the pic it looks very low detail, perhaps its been really denoised or something im not sure, or maybe you were shooting through clouds but it looks very smudgey. your color is fine though and your framing is nice
prob smudgey to my lack of automatic dithering, fucked the pixels or something idk
thanks for the feedback
Theres a lot of weird color here, the background could use some work (its too blue) and also the antares nebula is way too green, try and go back for the yellows-oranges. It overall feels a bit undersaturated and you're completely missing the red h-alpha color around alniyat
you clipped the blacks
i think 24mm is fine for milky way photography but as far as your editing goes you made it way too black, I see this a lot in astrophotos, either this is a direct result from applying too much contrast or doing something like dragging the blackpoint slider bar too far in whichever direction
this looks like a phone pic, theres a big gradient in the center and a weird aberration going through the middle
might wanna fix that
it is a phone pic
yeah i highly suggest you do astrophotography with a dslr for your level
Dithering wouldnt cause that its just the actual quality vs the stars
im working on a re edit rn
I don’t have on yet so i am pulling some things out of my phone
okay
Star trails...? I have another one with a building
its a little hard to see cause of the resolution but it looks like theres a good bit of color noise, I see green and red pixels everywhere. the upper right and upper left parts of the image have just a little too much contrast
this is pretty good, your sky color is great, if you could try and saturate those trails, ive seen a lot of people dig out a good bit of color from their star trail images and it looks pretty, there's some vignetting but that's not necessarily an issue, love the picture though otherwise
much better
Hello, can i get some feedback for this 😊
Thanks 😊 i edit it tomorrow again 😊
Looks great I love how wide the angle is, you really got a lot of the milky way, but like kronos said i think its way too blue, you could probably just fix that with a simple color balance adjustment
I’m kinda like 10 months late but B L U E
Post your astrophotos here and I'll give you advice on ways I think the image(s) could improve. The advice I will give is not to shun or insult your photos, rather it is solely to help you improve and offer constructive criticism.
(responses may be delayed)
Can I get some feedback on this terrible image? Thanks
This was my first attempt at astrophotography. I read you should try and get an object in the foreground but couldn't get it all to fit. How wide a lens would I need to be able to get both? Or would I need to be in a really flat, open place? I shot this with a 24mm
