And I'm in the process of removing 8 pilots from the pool looking for work because they signed something with the college I go to and legally speaking the college can revoke all credentials if they do not follow the contract they signed, in other words the vague contract is to protect the college's image, and I'm friends with the person who policies those policies, and turns out those 8 pilots treated me poorly for a trip done by the college because I'm a mechanic and they thought they were better 💅🏻 there's no superiority complexes allowed in aviation, we're all brothers and sisters with a passion for flight, I am not better than them for any reason, I just follow the books and encourage a friendly environment for all to enjoy

So they'll have to retake classes at another college, idk if the college can revoke anything FAA related

Their rate of closure appears to have been very low, and when the one aircraft "landed" atop the other, it is my working theory that the feedback loop on the lower aircraft's fly-by-wire flight control system (FCS) was not seeing the proper pitch response for the control surface input it was generating due to the other jet on its back and it increased the control surface input until it flipped both jets up (the jet on top had a similar problem because it's FCS was not seeing the proper pitch response in the opposite direction and increased flight control input in the opposite direction "sticking" it to the bottom aircraft). The combination appears to have resulted in a severe nose-high-attitude for both aircraft that departed controlled flight and ultimately assumed a nose-down pitch before both sets of aircrew ejected.
